Any rabid MU fan has his "wave that got away" and had to resort to either ebay or waiting about 6 months to pick up.
Is anyone finding that the last Hammer Wave (Thanos etc) is very miniscule? In my area, we got the Colossus/Kitty Pryde wave around about July, Mystique in September/October and we completely skipped Thanos and got WWH in December. Anybody else seeing this? |

Same here bro. I've been busting my ass trying to find this wave. I found a Constrictor but who wants that? I've been trying about the last two weeks to find a Dark Hawkeye and that damn Constrictor is the only one I've seen. Hell I'd trade both my World War Hulks for a Dark Hawkeye.

Nope not really. There were waves like the Vision one where stores only seemed to get one case. The Thanos wave was like this too. I didn't get all the figures at retail for those waves. However I was able to trade for them online.

Pretty much my experience as well. While I did manage to find the entire wave at retail, they were not abundant. I think I might have seen them on maybe two different occasions and that was it. |

it's really odd.. I find it's differently for every area... I hate showing up at my retailer options find a new wave in only to have certain figures remaining... I'm always left wondering what I missed and how hard it is to get again... lately my Zellers has been carrying MU secret wars comic 2 packs, updated Iron man 2 figures along with the target exclusive 2packs of iron man black panther, spider man green goblin, and black hand ninja wolverine... I hope they stay around long enough for me to pick up multiple hand ninjas the black ones look sweet!!! I wish these places did lay away.. I would easily fill a cart full of 2-300 and come back in a week or 2 and buy it all..

yup. I've had to resort to ebay on that wave. Another place to wait for would be comic con.

About a month ago I saw a few of MU waves # 10 AND # 11 hanging on the pegs at my local Target and regrettably passed on them at the time. DCUC waves # 14 and # 15 plus the Wal - Mart 2 packs were hitting hard and heavy at the sametime.

I've been all over trying to find a Dark Hawkeye. I mean everywhere. I pick a town near my home each day and go to all the superstores and toy stores in that area trying to find him and have had no luck. So I've decided I'm going to order one.

wow, is very hard and annoying to see this pattern always happen again and again, i think their way to distribute each MU wave are really bad, that's why not of all you have got each figures from the series....

Well, apparently Hasbro stocked the Thanos wave after the WWHulk to some (or a lot?...) of retailers. I know this as a fact because the store I always make my purchases with, had the Thanos wave for preorder and when I received my Hulk, I got concerned and asked them, so they told me Hasbro was delaying the wave.

Distribution is uneven, I should probably let you guys know, the ONLY time I have ever seen Archangel was LAST MONTH. Iron Man drones? THEY DON'T EXIST lol. Never seen them with my own eyes.

I'd fight off a pack of ravenous bobcats for a Dark Hawkeye.

The Thanos wave seems to have hit TRUs in the last week or so, after the first wave of 2011, for some reason.
Either way, it does appear to still be shipping, so don't give up hope yet. |

Ah thats very true...
I know that in my area MU was clogged up through litterally last two weeks but now it seems like after Christmas and the shopping that ensued before and after the pegs are being restocked with newer merch including that which we want!! Anybody else finding this? I actually found Carnage at a store btw...I was so amazed. Went back the next day for an unrelated manner and he was gone lol |

Just received the six figures of wave 12 from Star Action Figures in the uk. Wave 11 is still at preorder and the contact told me that he hadn't seen any trace of it back in November. It's a strange one but hopefully they'll show up. If not those with their filthy hands on these should consider themselves lucky.

I just ordered a Dark Hawkeye from BBTS and it said they had them in stock so hopefully I won't be waiting too long.
