Their Rockers looked okay enough considering scale. Probably more belief in the animated stuff like the Beetlejuice. Buffy looks decent/close enough accurate here, not so much Angel. But then again these are renders but as with last time, renders looked okay and the final production products had a bit to be desired. But we've all said it before, some of the licenses and IPs no one else is or would be doing, so they have to be commended at least for that.

hmmm...Maybe the beetle juice stuff. The SHF turtles, got'em. Hopefully these prompt more from SHF.
The GREMLIN looking good. I like the squat from. Pretty sure I'm sold on that. If the articulation is really good on Gizmo I might do that too.

Damn that Angel and... Scully? Would have sold a lot better 6 months ago. Such a pity.

Glad to see well articulated Avatar figures finally! The shoulders look to be fairly limited, but overall a good start. Hopefully Team Avatar in this style is not far behind.

Pretty good, not perfect, Airbender and its at about under $20? As said before, renders tend to differ from final production. Nice they gave the avatar face sculpt. Definitely interested when it comes to them making animated characters. I'd love for them to pick up the Naruto property after seeing this Aang.

I think this line only further proves that import companies are ripping off Americans. If they can have 3 heads on a 16 dollar 5 inch figure just imagine the amount of stuff u should get with 100$ Sh figuarts. Hit me up when the loyal subjects get the dbz license, clearly they give you decent enough sculpt with good accessories for 16$. I’d pay 25-30 for a dbz figure, never 50-125$

McFarlane is going to do way better than this Aang.

Aang looks good, but that cape looks like it completely kills arm articulation. Just the same issue Diamond Select has on their Avatar figures.

Hopefully it's soft rubber.

Yeah, but no.

These figures are all right for the price, but the overall quality of the SH Figuarts still blow these figures out of the water. Plus if its DBZ you want, there's a perfectly good Dragon Stars line right over there.

Ok with the quality and price of the Dbz figuarts but otherwise, for example marvel figuarts are quite bad for overpriced figures.
Their headscuplts likeness sucks compared to marvel legends.

I just still don't understand the point of this line. It's like a bootleg Movie Maniacs in a scale no one's collected since the 90's and such a random assortment of characters it's almost guaranteed the line will br cancelled before any subseries is completed

It's not perfect, but still better than what you're getting here. It's also more than likeness, it's also general build quality. These aren't by any means awful, but they aren't on the same level, either.

It's not a completionist line, just a "we wanted to make Beetlejuice so we made a Beetlejuice" line.

As for scale, they scale with each other, just like Hasbro only really scales with Hasbro, McFarlane only scales with McFarlane, NECA with NECA, etc.

But then you have them making characters like Gandalf who, while functioning as a standalone character, ideally would sell best if people knew the rest of the main cast was happening at some point. And it's true that most companies have different ideas of 6-7" scale, but most collector's figures have fallen within that measurement in the last 2 decades, barring Hot Toys stuff and the like haha

Maybe, but I think the approach is more casual to just take popular characters and make them a figure first and go from there. They'll have more after Gandalf, I'm pretty sure Legolas and Gimli got announced, but after that they can finish making the Fellowship or call it quits and be fine with it.

And anyway, these could have been say an inch taller, but it probably would have cost them some of their accessories to maintain the same price point and in the end they still wouldn't right on your shelf next your Marvel or Black Series figures.

I think at least the FMA Edward is kinda good, as he seems somewhat in scale with the Anime Heroes stuff since Ed is so short.

I'm still thinking that Gremlin has a lot of promise. I looks Toyetic, well articulated, a good size. If it feel nice in hand I'm sold.

I found Gandalf at my comic store. First time I’ve ever seen these. Why aren’t online retailers carrying these? I really don’t understand. I’d probably buy most of these.......if I saw them.
