I hope upon hope that the only reason they are reissuing these is because they are thinking about creating new M7 toys and are trying to gauge current interest in M7.
I love my old chunky VF-17, but I'd love to see an updated version. |

I got an old Blazer valk kit back in the day after watching Macross Plus because it was the closest thing I could get to a YF-19. I have to say, as a transforming model, it ... uh... well, it really sucks. It's nice of them to reissue them, but really I'd much rather see them do proper DX VF-19 and VF-17s . Hell, even VF100 1/100 scale versions would be cool, although they'd probably have just as much parts swapping as the models

Now you too can save the universe with the power of cheesy j-rock.

It's always been MY dream, I don't know about anyone else.
If the 1/100 kits are one thing, it's very good looking (at least, in battroid mode, if you paint 'em) and anime accurate in proportions. The joints I remember just being atrocious, though . I remember finding mine in a closet a year or so ago, and the wings just dangled limply from the body, unable to support their own weight anymore in fighter mode. ... come on, Bandai... give us a DX VF-171, then throw us all for a loop and redo the Macross 7 valks. I'm sure there's a market for them ... somewhere. Maybe. I mean, someone would buy a few, I'm sure. ... PLANETO DANSU! |

This is fantastic news. I was hoping for a reissue of the VF-19S. The price for this kit on Ebay is outrageous.
