Looks pretty great, I have the Figuarts and that is excellent. This has all that has plus the tea tray, nice touch.

Considering we're still waiting on the Mandalorian, I imagine IG-11 won't see the light of day for another 5yrs. Guess my MAFEX Mandalorian will have to be patient.

Looks awesome, and way better than Hasbro's offering.
I wonder who is next? Probably Kulli? |

From these pictures, the paintwork on the Figuarts looks a little bit better. The stippling on the Figuarts bag is also a quality choice. But considering the price, I think this is a great figure. I'll probably preorder. Let's hope it doesn't experience the delays that the MAFEX Mandalorian experienced.
Anyone care to wager if it will sell out as quickly as the Figuarts seemed to? Last edited by QuikMix; 04-23-2021 at 01:44 PM.. |

Wouldn't ever wager against anything Star Wars that was "good," but I dont think it will, at least in terms of preorders. Unless there's more significant use of the character with passage of time, interests starts to wane. So Mafex delays will hurt this for sure. In terms of scale, SHF made an excellent one already (this doesnt look like a significant upgrade to it) and Black Series has one and will probably make another in the future with improvements. In general collectors either go for one or the other based on price, or get both, and fewer collectors dont care and get them all. Also considering particularly character design (thin limbs) with MAFEX reputation, there's a lack of confidence on QC and build.
