Thought I was done with Mafex but between this and the Fett rereleases, its definitely feeling like this:

Also I'm loving how this is essentially the mid-80s Tsukuda model kit in modern action figure form.

Arnold was way bigger back then, if he had the size id be more interested. It’s a slick looking figure. Maybe …. Maybe.

Nice! Awesome they went with the first film. Love the crispness of these higher quality figures. I hope they enlarge those sun glasses though; way too small compared to the film.

Nice they went with this. All too common to start with Judgment Day. Gargoyles are not quite to scale, but really interesting they appear to have the brown lenses. Not for me, its cool, just a different kind of cool.

I think/like the NECA 7" "Tech Noir"
Termi better IMHO ;^)

I agree with everyone that says the NECA version looks better. The MAFEX "Magical Toy"(???) Terminator is just 'off' in numerous ways (wide hips, small head, weak jawline).

Yeah, he's got these oddly wide, child-bearing hips, and his head is way too small and dainty...Arnold's got a big ol' noggin with a square jaw.

That's the first thing I noticed. They're like half the size they should be, and they're shaped completely wrong.

Yeah, the sunglasses are underscaled but at least they're actually lens-like material. Wish Neca made that upgrade when they updated the figure. Still love both of those '84 figures they put out.

As par for MAFEX, the realistic facesculpt is off for Arnold, not really loving the hair sculpt also. But giving credit, the damaged head looks pretty good. But I think they have a good starting point to make their usual improvements the second or third time when they do a T2 version.
