Now HASBRO already announce about their MARVEL LEGENDS Line in 2012. they decide to continue this amazing line and its very good news for us that want 6inch figures from marvel continue since the last series from Annihilus series. BUT their announcement statement that said will leave TOYBIZ molding and sculpt and now they are going use THEIR OWN Molding and sculpt for this new series, some for fans are good news but some said it terrible, well thats your choice.
Well, do you have some ideas for this line in 2012, which figures will release and re-issue from HASBRO??..please let me know your favourite line and also BAF figures that you have dreamed on....for me i always want to complete all my avengers line since i collect from toybiz, and here my choice : BAF : BLACK GOLIATH in giantman shape !! CHARACTER : 1. Fire star (Head part) 2. Jocasta (Upper torso part) 3. Photon (lower torso part) 4. Mocking bird (left arm part) ---- variant modern outfit Mocking Bird !! 5. Hell Cat (right arm part) ---- variant black outfit Hellcat !! 6. Quasar (right leg part) 7. Jack Of Hearts (left leg part) and one more : BAF : STATURE AKA CASSIE LANG in giantman shape !! CHARACTER : 1. Fire Bird (Head part) 2. US Agent (Upper torso part) ---- variant Colonel Rogers !! 3. Modern Luke CAGE (lower torso part) 4. Sting Ray (left arm part) ---- variant Dark hawk !! 5. Triathlon (right arm part) 6. Lion Heart (capt. Britain) (right leg part) 7. ECHO aka MAYA LOPEZ (left leg part) thats the line will complete almost my avengers team hehehe, sorry for my selfish, well anyone have the idea for marvel legends line in 2012???

I'd be more interested in some of the individual figures, rather than the BAFs. Towards the end of Toybiz's run and the beginning of Hasbro's, I found I was getting figures I really didn't want just to complete the BAFs. And even a few of them I didn't really want anyway.
But I'm happy for those who still collect Marvel Legends, since there is new product on the horizon.

That's the point of the BAFs! So that you buy the full set and not leave the B list characters clogging the shelves.
Regardless, I'm happy that this line is continuing as I've become a big fan of this series in recent months. Personally I hope they release updated versions of X-men characters that we haven't seen before.

Hmm, Hasbro did say that some characters who were already in the line will return but not re-using the old molds. So with that said, here is what I'd like to see:

I'd like to see a Spidey 2099. Perhaps with his recent appearance in Shattered Dimensions, there is a better chance than no chance of getting one.

We ought to get one. The 2007 one had a t-crotch and the last fully articulated one was made back in 2002 by Toy Biz! It's been a long time coming!

Yes indeed. Infact let's get an entire 2099 wave including Doom and Punisher. Now I'm trying to think of a good Build-a-Figure....

I would like to see a few teams completed. Such as 90's X-Force and X-Factor and Alpha Flight.
I started collecting Marvel figures in the mid 90's and I'm still waiting on characters like Siryn and Meltdown to be released. A Jim Lee style Jean Grey would be nice too. Also, The White Queen (no, not "Emma Frost", eff making her a good guy) is supposed to be a pale sexy blonde in white lingerie. So WTF was that in the Annihilus series? She looks like an inbred tranny with Down's Syndrome in a diaper. A little effort would be nice when it comes to some of the more iconic characters. Remake? Thank you. |

A 2099 line would be awesome, I loved those comics, sadly that is about the time that I had to stop collecting.

We need a Scarlett Spider too, the last one was from 2002 exclusive at KB Toys and a PITA to find!

I love the Ultimate Marvel Universe and I'd want to see some Ultimate characters have figures made.
Build-a-Figure Ultimate Rhino wave - Ultimate Spider-Man (variant: Ultimate black costume) - Ultimate Kitty Pryde - Ultimate Hawkeye (the first costume, from Ultimates 1-2) - Ultimate Thor - Ultimate Vulture - Ultimate Spider-Woman - Ultimate Green Goblin (variant: Ultimate Hobgoblin) Build-a-Figure Ultimate Giant-Man wave - Ultimate Wasp (from Ultimates 3. variant is her short-haired look and Ultimates 1 costume) - Ultimate Valkyrie (Ultimates 3) - Ultimate Quicksilver - Ultimate Red Skull - Ultimate Cyclops - Ultimate Scarlet Witch - Ultimate Magneto is that a good lineup? |

i think they should drop the BAF concept already. for your giant needs, they should release the larger characters in the MU gigantic battles line.
anyway my choices for ML's return in 2012 since its the avengers movie year, they should kick things off with a solid avengers line-up comic series wave 1 (all new molds) steve rogers super soldier thor in his current chain mail costume mockingbird hawkeye (updated costme) wasp (hank pym) justice comic series wave 2 (all new molds) captain america bucky luke cage jewel iron man (heroic age armor) antman (eric o grady) dr voodoo comic series wave 3 or what i would describe, "lets update the old toybiz molds" wave spider-woman moon knight miss marvel wonder man iron fist scarlet witch movie series wave 1 captain america thor hawkeye hulk black widow nick fury movie series wave 2 dunno. but im guessing its more or less the same characters and the villain. but maybe under different costumes that will undoubtedly seen in the movie. then maybe they could reissue some of the recent figs in 2 packs or something to add more avengers and keep them in production for those playing catch up. maybe do a little changes on paint scheme. shehulk black widow valkyrie red hulk nova thing hercules quicksilver 1 important thing... there should absolutely no friggin exclusives. not to TRU, not to Walmart, not to hasbro.com, not to BBTS, not to anything!!! and keep the prices down. around the same price of MU right now. then kick the prices of MU lower.
