The sculpting looks okay, but some of the paintwork and lack of paint in certain areas is atrocious. These look horribly cheap, even in the promo shots.

Man, these look pretty low quality. I'll stick with my Final Battle Thanos and Iron Man from Figuarts.
Is that supposed to be a turning to dust effect for Thanos? |

I like Odin but Thanos looks incredibly cheap.
The articulation is super basic. When Diamond has more articulation, you have a problem. Iron Man has some nice stuff but I'm not that impressed. |

Share the same opinions. Biggest problem is lack of paint and washes. I'm just generally disappointed that this is probably going to be the only 1/12 scale MCU Odin we may ever get for awhile if ever, much like an MCU (armored) Heimdall. I have little faith SHF will put out one and also MAFEX.
To note, I remember many collectors saying the SHF Final Battle versions didnt look dirty or damaged enough, these definitely look far cleaner. Just greatly disappointed that this 2 pack and the Odin aren't close in quality to the MCU Hela and Skurge 2 pack. |

That Anthony Hopkins head sculpt is pretty horrendous, what's with the teeth?!?
Armored Thanos suffered the same lack of black wash as the original BAF Armor Thanos. That's one thing that McFarlane does really well, their figures are often given a black wash therefore filling in the detail lines and making the sculpting detail pop. I did that with my BAF Armored Thanos and it made a world of difference. Without it, it just looks like cheap plastic. That "dust effect" Thanos head just looks weird. |

I’m gonna have to echo the other’s concerns. The lack of paint apps is really bad. I skipped the SH Tony, hoping hasbro would come through. I was so badly waiting for a final battle Tony and Thanos.......but.........but.......

Yeah... these look awful. Also, I don't remember Thanos ever having the Iron Man gauntlet?

But I was thinking he had the original gauntlet though Because Tony has the Stark Gauntlet in that scene.

2014 Thanos never has any gauntlet until he takes the Stark gauntlet near the end of the battle and when Tony nabs the stones (since it's the same tech as his suit) Thanos still has the gauntlet, otherwise he wouldn't have bothered trying the snap. Weirdly almost all previous Endgame Thanos figures have erroneously given him the Infinity Gauntlet even though its only appearance in the movie is heavily damaged after the stones were destroyed by farmer Thanos.

I think Tony looks pretty good, actually. Thanos is Thanos-we've seen him before; perhaps some collectors have not had the chance to get him yet.
That said, I would think they could do a better job with Odin's face. Hopefully the real thing looks better than these pics. He could be a big time pegwarmer. |

I've just realized what these remind me of. The Black Series. And I don't like it.

IS Odin's body just a repainted Thor? The chest plate looks the same.

$26.99 for a meme essentially.
Given the recent FoX-Men figures rotted away on shelves until they hit clearance, I wonder if these will share the same fate. Not sure how many people are paying $26.99 for Quicksilver and Odin, both who did virtually nothing in the movies. |
