I like that Warmachine better than the one from the Hulkbuster wave, but that IM is ugly as ****. When did Tony join GI Joe's Eco-Warriors?
Namor is cool, but Odin's staff is way too big for him. Hasbro can't be seriously that lazy.

Both those armored figures are War Machine. But the other one looks like either a prototype/test shot or like...I dunno, "Infrared vision" War Machine or something.
Civil War War Machine and Namor both look good, though. |

As for reusing the staff, while I can agree that it's a bit 'lazy,' it also makes business sense. Namor is a retailer-exclusive figure, which will already see less return than a mass-retail released figure. The figure itself sports a pretty primo paint job, and quite a bit of new tooling for an exclusive (head, forearms/gauntlets, belt, and the ankle-wings). It make sense that, assuming the budget allotment for this figure, that they'd rather spend more on making the figure himself accurate and including a rehashed accessory than making a new trident at the expense of one of the more Namor-y body parts. Besides, you don't have to display him with the trident - I know I probably won't. Hell, I can't even remember the last time I saw Namor with a trident in the comics.

Iron Man figs are an easy pass for me....but most of them are. Namor looks pretty good but I'll probably just hold out for the mold reuse and hope for a green speedo version.
That 3/4 view of Namor gives me a Jin Kazama feel from Tekken. |

Also just an oddball choice. Surely there were less...garish...variants they could have made with minimal new tooling. |

Disco armour looks vile , if you like it , great
warmachine looks good though would have liked a rocket launcher , instead of erm 2 mini guns ?? Namor looks awesome, might get 2 and make the second one quicksilver though hasbro could easily make one .... Wish they did something more iconic for iron man i.e Silver Centurion IM3 armour or heart breaker to make it exclusive like the war machine armour is Last edited by warmachine6; 03-22-2016 at 12:16 PM.. |

Guys, guys. It's obvious that Deathstroke stole his armour.

On one hand, I like it when retailer exclusives are just random repaints that I don't have to worry about hunting down.
On the other hand, that Iron Man deco is god awful, I really think Hasbro could have tried harder to find a better color scheme for the two pack. |

i still feel that they missed the boat with the house party protocol. a lot of those armors are just new color schemes and parts swaps. sure, a couple of them are entirely unique, but not a ton of them. oh well. i won't be completely upset with getting this two pack which is always a plus. hopefully it's not an online exclusive, i prefer finding things in stores, it's more fun that way. |

It's slated to be a Target exclusive.

I get that, but Odin's staff is way too big. Hell, it's bigger than Namor's hand, which means it is going to royally stretch it out in order to hold it, but then it won't even hold it that well after a while. Couldn't they have done with something a bit more size friendly for him?

Not bad, especially that new War Machine. Glad they've given him some alternate hands. We don't get anywhere near enough of them these days. I don't see why they labelled the Mark 27 a Concept Series figure though, seeing as the Disco Armour was in Iron Man 3. Maybe because it has the AOU War Machine sculpt with a rectangular arc reactor instead of a circular one? Kind of a shame really. If we had a Mk.7 Iron Man from the first Avengers movie, that would have been just about perfect for a disco armour repaint.

Shouldn't Disco have an Iron Man 3 logo?

Disco is pretty random, and it's a figure I could very well do without.
However, the Civil War Machine might tickle my fancy... if only he had a bigger shoulder cannon. And a head/face that didn't look droopy. |
