Anyone know what is going on with the 3.75 or 4 inch Robotech human figures that were shown at SDCC (I think) last year?

They were at Toy Fair 16 and they have a TBD release date. Possibly Fall this year though. Hopefully

I thought I had a pic on my phone but I must have deleted it. Anyway, the Nendoroid figs have playsets that work with 4" figs. I have the Japanese house one. There's also a classroom and a more western/American type room that looks like a lodge. Currently I have Logan chilling with a Dead or Alive candy figure and a Tenjou Tenge gashapon girl eating dinner.
I'll try to post pics tomorrow. |

Here are the images. They are pretty great. they came in A and B sets for each theme. These pictures are of both sets put together.
Culture fest Japanese Life School Life Wagnaria Western GI Joe for scale Maybe we should do a playset appreciation thread. So many great playsets out there. Last edited by theArchivist; 02-24-2016 at 12:02 PM.. |

CapsuleQ Armored Action Skull Devgru or something like that by Kaiyodo. They are about 11cm tall and there are a bunch of different guns you can get as gashapons to go with the skeletons. Release date is March 25th of this year but I haven't found anywhere to get them online yet.

Another one I am trying to find more info on is the Epoch Capsule Collection robot in a line called "Who obtained? I give" translated to English.
I've seen the little accessories but haven't found a place to get the figures yet. Rakuten had a listing but has since stopped selling them. Here is Epoch's website but nothing has been listed for March yet. They have ton more pictures if you follow them on Twitter @EP_CAPSULE Last edited by theArchivist; 02-29-2016 at 07:07 AM.. |

Those robots would make cool Cobra BAT prototypes or something for Ultron. The skeletons are cool, but I assume Boss Fight will someday actually launch their line and they have a cool skeleton that might scale a little better.
EDIT: Whats the height on the robot. I can't tell if the ad has it or not? Thanks |

Is there a toolbox out there like the type you see in a pick up truck? I bought one of those Walmart trucks but I can find a tool box for the bed

I haven't found any truck bed tool boxes yet but there are some great toolbox sets in the 1:18 diecast stuff.

Here is Epoch's website but nothing has been listed for March yet. They have ton more pictures if you follow them on Twitter @EP_CAPSULE Here is a quick scale picture. So these guys are pretty fun and I like the look of the robots. So for less than perfect: They sport "revoltech" like joints but since they are only like $3 they come on the spru in 2 parts and you have to put them together so they are kind of weak and like to fall apart pretty easily. The joints also don't stay in the appendages very well either. Basically these are crappy toys to actually give kids. So the white parts are a softer plastic and the grey is more rigid. Articulation (I'll have more detailed pictures later) Ball joint head. Revol shoulders, hips, and knees. single hinge elbows swivel wrists swivel waist ball joint ankles. (these aren't too good because both the lower leg and foot are soft plastic. They hold good for now but I have a feeling that will deteriorate with time and use.) The torso is a new one (for me) it is a wheel like swivel that lets the robot double over pretty good as well as bend strait back. The go-karts are pretty nice too. |
