I was under the impression that the Thing variant's been out for a while, but not very common.
I like this Daredevil variant, and it certainly lends him a greater ability to blend in compared with the bright red or yellow costumes! Here's hoping to a Bullseye variant to go along with him. |

The Thing one was common around here in Mass. The Bullseye one is very new and I don't think many people have found it.

Someone posted a link with better pics from an E-bay seller who had them. This was about 1-2 months ago.
I wish I could remember what forum this was posted at.

I find it mildly retarded that it being fake is a possibility in some people's minds.

Strange, but i saw a bunch of "new" MU figures at my local Walmart tonight and most of them looked like garbage (by new I mean new in store but from older waves). Terrible paint jobs, Guardian, Spidey, Captain America and others. I worry Hasbro is really slipping. If I did not know better, I would swear they are counterfeit, they look so bad. Can't figure out how Hasbro would put out crap like this. Anyone else seeing this out there?

Looking at this link on EBay, seller is from China. You're right, Scarecrow, never any counterfeit merchandise out of China. Recently I bought a loose "Disney Pixar" car from a seller in China only to have it arrive a completely different scale, and much less intricate details - clearly counterfeit. While you might be right that this DD may be a running change and future release, I would never trust a "loose" figure from China as legit, especially one that has not been posted on any websites as an upcoming release. |

Not to mention China is where they are made & come out first. Yeah Hasbro needs to up their game in the quality control department. |

The World's Greatest Fakes - 60 Minutes - CBS News
Buyer beware is all I am saying. Having been a victim, and seeing continued stories of China as the counterfeit capital of the world. From cigarettes, to cars, to pharmaceuticals, to golf clubs to toys. You name they fake it, and sometimes better than others as my recent disney pixar car experience showed. Above is a decent story on the industry, though the stories abound. I would just use caution, especially with anything loose, though even packaging is easily reproduced. Again, in the end, with this product you may very well be right since you've seen it yourself, especially at SDCC which essentially closes the issue. But with all products I would exercise caution. Call me paranoid, but in China it is a multi-billion dollar industry. That's just a fact. |

We're talking about a hobby in which some people buy action figures, take them home and open them, then replace them with an old same-scale figure, repackage it, and return it to the store. Then we see Toy Biz figures repackaged as MU figures. I find it strange that you find it "retarded" that people might question it. That Ebay link someone posted earlier? That's one of two pictures I've ever seen for it. I've seen that exact same Ebay picture about 2 months ago (also on Ebay). And it's from freaking China. We've yet to see a single carded image of this, which we saw quickly for all the previous variants. And I'm not trying to be rude, I'm simply asking: could you stop by that store and take a picture of it for us? That picture would quickly spread throughout all the websites and you would end up clearing things up for the entire community. Quote:
You say you've seen it and I don't think you're lying, but take a picture for us. Otherwise it's just someone on a forum saying they've seen it. And that's not fact. |

You just said above that you've seen it. Okay, so swing by and take a picture of it. Help out the community and clear up the confusion.

I'm a huge fan of this line and would love some confirmation on this. Anybody else see it? Pics? I'm in the midwest and it usually takes longer to see the new stuff.

No real confirmation. There's been like one or two pictures on Ebay at the most, without a single person on a forum posting a personal picture.
