Presenting the 7th fig for my Series 4 Marvel Universe Avengers Riverspoons Custom Series! - Hercules!
I came across the Herc issue #3 while reading the Fear It Self comics series, from that issue Herc wears his new costume, after reading I was inspired and challenged to make that costume on MU scale. Compared to the classic look of Herc in my opinion I find this new costume more fit in the modern marvel world (hehe I guess thats why they updated it! ) I really like his accessory, though I skipped on making the Helmet hanging on back of his belt. I found that quite out of place. I used my spare Secret Wars Thor head and a Piledriver for this project, I used rubber sheets on some parts like the belt & straps. Metal sheet base for the lion on his shoulder, shield as well as the sword. The Shield of Perseus has a custom sculpted Medusa as well! and everything else is sculpted. It was really an ambitious custom, I'm happy in a way I got every detail that has to be put in. Thru my best effort it all paid off on the finished product! =) I added the sneak peek for my last figure for the Series 4 its Gilgamesh! or what they call The Forgotten One. =)

HA! Great as always- love seeing your work in progress shots- that really inspires me.
How did you get the tops off Piledriver's boots? Did you just heat a blade and go to town or what? Looks really smoothly done. |

Thanks Jason, yeah WIPs shots are cool. It clearly shows how much effort are done.
As for the Piledriver's boots, I used a normal cutter to scrape the excess part, and smoothen up with a dremel.

Nice custom work.
I heard that comic was cancelled, but the costume lives on in your custom.
