I'm just thinking how many of these I should buy, I won't be selling none, just to keep, they improved everything, the figure has the vertical hinge on the hand to hold the sword properly just like Anthony Customs said in many of his videos, metallic harness, torso in a v shape to suit a super hero properly, non oversized loin cloth, it looks better than Classics, I'm felling like a 5 year old

Looks great, I'm pretty minimal for MOTU, just picked up He-Man and Skeletor origins but I'll grab a few of these in this style.

And hoping they at least do the early, core characters in this style.

Everything looks great except that God awful "wash". Mattel needs to stop that. It looked like crap on Savage He-Man, looks bad here and makes no sense on a 40th Anniversary Vintage Styled figure. It reminds me of one of those customs that's presented on boards by a nice fella. It looks really bad but, everyone just says,"Great job! Keep up the good work!" BAD JOB MATTEL. DROP THE WASH.

Am I the only one who thinks the head and body don't look like they go together?

I'm all about this. Not a fan of the wash, but everything else is stellar

The wash is…..not good. I love the idea of this, so I’m on board. But I’m not sure I need one to open. Just a closed piece will do. Any word on where this is going to be? It would be nice for everyone that wants one to get one. Kind of like the 80s….like this figure is celebrating. |

Nope, not just you. It’s like the 12” Mondo He-man with the vintage head on him but in 7 inch scale. He-man needs to be bulky not scrawny. The vintage figures were as wide as tall.

Awesome. I'm such a sucker for these kinds of things/figures.
When and where do I buy? |

Well that's just amazing.
Clearly in the minority here, but I like the wash. As in I'd rather have it than not have it. Totally debatable as to how well it's done... but better than not having it. Is it too early (or seemingly ungrateful) to ask Mattel if they're going to do Skeletor as well? Kind of have to, right? Last edited by Otter; 03-18-2022 at 03:40 PM.. |

This is the first He-Man figure that I've really thought about picking up. Nicely done.

I don't mind the wash that most people are complaining about and as much as i want this, everything about motu is scalper bait where i'm from since it's a niche toy line for adults so i'll be very lucky if i do see one at srp, online or otherwise. The only thing i see in toy stores right now are the toys from that new kid-friendly show.

Do you think the flesh tones will match on the real thing? That torso is different to everything else.
