I still can't believe Mcfarlane is wasting plastic for this dumb movie.

If you don't like the designs from the film or the Snyder verse then that's fine. But it's not constructive for those comments. Just because they do the Snyderverse Darkseid doesn't prevent them doing say Injustice 2 Darkseid. This is what it is.

Now I need some HQ pictures because I think detail is obviously being lost.
With what we have.

I'll get the negative out of the way.
Some of those head designs are weak. I see the resemblance but we have a bit of stunt double syndrome going on. Part of that is because they are faces with one coat of paint.

Batman alt head. If that's a separate figure, Mcfarlane needs to stop that. Alt heads need to be with the one figure. I'd say use the alt head with the other suit but well we would still need a cowl. That's throwing a middle finger to your customers if he's pulling a Flashpoint Batman.

Darkseid - I don't see enough of a difference for two separate figures. But I guess it's personal preference.

Overall I feel most of the bodies are good. Customizers will have a field day.

I need to own both versions of Superman. All black and colorful version. This one I'm surprised they aren't using an alt head because I think it would be very much justified.

I do think all black could use a metallic sheen but hey matte works to. I foresee this one being in high demand thanks to that. Both these figures might be my definitive with head swaps down the line.

Batman, debating this because I don't need another Batman. But I really like this Batman suit. I say debate and I mean I will buy it.

Darkseid: Probably going to buy unless they announce a comic book Darkseid. Though I might get the shirtless one if the suited version has an empty cavity.

Steppenwolf: I just like the design so probably a buy.

Aquaman: More a case of not having an Aquaman at all. Rather have the suit from his film but this will do.

Cyborg: Probably going to buy. Not a huge fan of this look but as a figure it works enough to own.

Flash: I like the Flash and I think the suit works better in toy form....where they don't add or paint in all the silly wiring holding it together.

Wonder Woman: Is this even different from the WW84 toy? This probably a literal rerelease. I already own the WW84 figure.

The quality of figures this movie deserves, tbh. Let's move on to the next thing, shall we?

Steppenwolf kind of makes me think of Dan Simmons' The Shrike...

I’m not happy with these at all. The heads look to small. Like way to small. The likenesses are awful..... I mean just awful. I’m hoping these are not official....because these may be my first pass from Todd with DC. Plus Darkseid......that torso....dear lord.

Plus I don’t care what anyone says.....I want cloth capes, not plastic. Superman can achieve very few poses with that cape.

Man, if the goal was to crush my hopes on these......mission accomplished.

The facesculpts look bad. I will be honest.

Darkside looks fine from certain angles, but I thing all these companies need to hire someone to do posing for them. Plenty of talented guys out there.

I am not sure if I need more. Affleck looks pretty bad face wise.

If they did 12 inch deluxe versions, I would buy, but don't need 1/10 or 1/12 scale movie figures. Movie figures are usually boring and not eye catching.

I've been waiting damn near 8 years for a real sequel to MoS and it still isn't happening.

Well firstly, hoping we get official sharp detailed pics, these are slightly blurry. But from what can be seen, its generally par for what McFarlane Toys produces. Human face sculpt will usually not be great or accurate, but their strength in armor/costume sculpting looks off here for most of them however I will chalk it up to the photos and hopes that this isnt the final finished product. I'm gonna think pass on these if these are the final, but might pull the trigger on the Supermans, their costume body sculpts look pretty good, cape is of course an issue.

This would be a good time for SHF to fix/improve on their Justice League figures and complete the line. Probably the same for MAFEX but I imagine you wont see those til 2023-24 at the earliest.

I notice that Wonder Woman only shows up in the group shots while there are individual pictures for everyone else. This is making me guess that they're just using the WW84 figure for the pictures and she won't actually be in the wave.

Most of them look good, but that unmasked headsculpt for Batman looks nothing like Affleck.

With McF's WW84 Wonder Woman still warming pegs at Walmart stores, I'm not so sure how well the Snyder Cut version will sell. It barely looks different.

Also curious about the absence of the 2nd Cyborg that was on the leaked assortment list awhile back. We were supposedly getting a regular Cyborg and then one with a helmet, per this report on TNI:

TNI and some IG users that have posted the pics are saying that the unmasked Batman, Cyborg with the helmet, and the red and blue Superman will be store exclusives.

In all of the lists with the figures and product codes, Wonder Woman is never listed. My guess is that they aren't making another WW for the Snyder Cut. It looks like they just included the standard WW84 figure in these shots since she's in the movie.

Probably target exclusives. That way only scalpers will get them and us regular collectors will be screwed....like we usually are with store exclusives.

Figures they’d just repack WW84 WW to save on tooling costs, but that figure is ass, so it’s a shame. SHF WW84 remains the best 1:12 scale WW but it would’ve been nice to get an improvement in 1:10 size as well.

Keep cool guys.

There are three figures that are rumored to be store exclusives. Walmart and Target are a given to carry two of the exclusives. I think Amazon is the likely candidate to carry the last exclusive. It's possible that the red and blue Superman could be exclusive to Amazon.

It's not a re release/repack, it's already been released. .

QUESTION
Yo tell me guys this is a re written version of the first movie? OR a sequel to Justice League? I googled it and it was all video opinions so I thought this way might get me a straight answer.

Short answer: It's the version of JL that was originally supposed to be released before Snyder had to step away due to family tragedy and the studio completely f***ed it up.

I'm sorry for ever bashing Hasbro's Black Series face sculpts. These things look nothing like the actors.

Darkseid's design is terrible- not Todd's fault at least.

Just don't see these selling well at all. The pin heads, the shoddy looking torso joints, lack of likenesses, and JL being a shit movie that nothing can save, will combine to make these big pegwarmers.
