Another Batman and Superman hurray

I am so glad I haven't supported this line at all. Nothing but batman and superman.

I actually miss DC Direct/Collectibles cause they actually made other characters and didn't just to 10000000000000 batmans.

Wow so 3 years into the line and we are finally getting a CW Flash figure. Christ Todd

According to the product description on McF's site, Baby Starro is made of soft PVC that can be slid over most of the action figures' chests.

Merged posts and threads, thanks x 2.

Dig Starro.

While I have been vocal about wanting comic based figures, personally this is too deep dive for me. I have never been into the Crime Syndicate stories, and always thought the Arrh Batman was silly looking.

I am all for variety tho, so if you dig em go for it!

Starro is legit tho so will grab CS to get em.

Zur-En-Arrh Batman seems like an ideal candidate to be offered as an McF Store Exclusive rather than a Target Exclusive. This is something so specific and obscure that it'll just confuse the average shopper, lol.

Don't know why the Baby Starro is so big--they are meant to wrap around the heads of people to take control of them, and this is too big to wrap around the heads of his 7 inch figures. Will look good on any 1/6 figure, though!

And you can still find those Direct/Collectibles hanging around at comic shops everywhere unsold. A line in Walmart and Target doesn't have that luxury and needs popular characters to keep the lines moving.

But I agree that they should push out more CW figures and strike while the iron is hot, instead of now when Flash has lost a lot of momentum.

Well, The CW made a mess of their schedule, so shows keep taking turns in the same time slots depending on the month. Flash and Riverdale aired for five weeks in the fall and then went on hiatus again.

Not sure which other character would be popular enough to sell well, though. Supergirl would've been a natural candidate, but the series has ended (presumably because the actress wants to focus on her newborn child). Superman would be the next logical guess now that he has his own show, too.

I guess White Canary (Caity Lotz) would be logical as well since she's the lead of Legends of Tomorrow, but we already know McF doesn't release a lot of female figures.

Arrow - canceled
The Flash
Supergirl - canceled
Legends of Tomorrow - Maybe Caity Lotz, but there are rumors of this show being canceled, too.
Black Lightning - canceled
Batwoman - I personally enjoy it, but no one seems to be making any merchandise based on Javicia Leslie.
Superman & Lois - This shows seems to have found a devoted audience, and I like Tyler Hoechlin as Superman. Don't like the actress they cast as Lois, though.
Naomi - just started airing this year

We are? I must have missed it. Maybe they were waiting for Flash to finally get the gold boots he just received in Armageddon? Or does the new figure not have the boots? I've not seen it.

I hope it's better than the Arrow figure in the initial McFarlane wave which almost feels an eternity ago with how many figures have come since. :O

Aw, mate no love for Bitsie Tulloch? I think she's been right proper amazing as Lois. Had me feel all the feels more than a few times. But aye, it's a great show. I definitely need me a Hoechlin Superman figure if McFarlane's listening.

Here's a pre-sale listing for TV Flash: https://ddc-ppp.com/THE-FLASH-TV-SHO...e-_p_7089.html

No leaked pictures yet, though.

I still like the Season 1/2 suits. Some of the subsequent ones were really ugly.

And yeah, Bitsie Tulloch rubs me the wrong way. Sorry.

I never much liked the dark colours of the first couple. Only issues I have with later ones are the chinstrap-less one (Love ya, Grant but you ain't got enough chin to go without unlike John Wesley Shipp) and the one where headpiece that looked like a helmet. I'm totally fine with the current suit so if the figure is that then great.

Aw no, mate. Don't need to say sorry to me. I think she's pretty amazing and probably my favourite Lois of them all and especially love her chemistry with Ty and the boys but if she don't do it for you then eh, can't be helped. There's no one and nothing in the world that appeals to everyone.

CW Flash seems a real odd choice to come out of nowhere. It probably can't be a repaint either, since that suit and Gustin's build is different.

That said, it also makes sense because they just need to change colors and and heads and you can get Zoom and Reverse Flash out of that same mold.

I was expecting Godspeed would be the CW one to go with that Flash, though. Is it?

I hate Todd's Year long BAF game... I'm 100% down for Starro but it seems the only time I'm interested in his BAf characters they are divided over a year or exclusives

It really sucks because if you miss one, that's it.

I had to hit up AmiAmi and reverse import the damn Batman Beyond Target exclusive to get the BAF part because by the time I had the money to get it it was gone in Targets.

I'm surprised they're making a Godspeed because the Injustice 2 Hot Pursuit is already a white suit -- and Walmart's had it for $10 for what seems like months.

So they're making THAT Batman before a single somewhat normal-looking Wonder Woman.
