WB: "We have a ban on including guns with figures"
Todd: "What guns?" releases "McFarlane" gun pack and WB's heads' explode. |

I think it's always been implied (but rarely/never shown) that she's bi.
In this scene, she's distracting Batwoman to steal her phone.

You know Todd is doing everything that everyone's been saying what Hasbro should be doing with their troop builders: Make it a lower price item with no limit, and then leave it up for pre-order for several days so people can buy as many as they want. Everything except the "Exclusive" part, he's got it right. But I do understand why he has to do this.

You can't really do a no limit as you need to know or guess how much you need from a production run.
Then know which retailers will carry your stuff. Target/Walmart probably wouldn't carry a weapons pack like this. Though BBTS/EE/Dorkside probably would place an large order. I'm hoping this is more a test for wide distribution. Show there is demand to these retailers to carry it. Or that's in question and it's Mcfarlane getting first dibs and trying to grow their store front. It would be silly to have your own store and not have incentives to buy from it. Now if we could get some generic hand packs that would be nice. Generally most of the hands use the same peg. The figure that do come with alt hands actually have a smaller peg. In that case including the joint(cough and ankle joint) as well would be nice. |

Yeah and toy distribution isn't usually that simple. A company can have an item be exclusive until it's not. For the time being Mcfarlane store will be the only retailer carrying it. But that can always change. They could even release a pack that contains different accessories to other retailer and thus technically preserve the exclusivity. Now as to pumping them out. From a production standpoint, no producing them isn't an issue. But they still need to sell every one they produce to make a profit. Selling a good amount of stock to another retailer is a way to see a return on investment sooner then later. Tack on what's exclusive in say the US could be different exclusive in another country. |

I get that weapon packs aren't big sellers (the discounted fortnite gun sets i see in stores is enough proof), one can only hope. It'll be a shame if this weapon pack will be very limited in stock as a couple of dc multiverse figures really need some guns to make it "complete."

McFarlane neglects his international customers. Makes it nice and hard for us. Don't worry tho some kind sould will buy a dozen sets and put them on eBay for 60 usd each plus shipping.

The problem is also how to market it, since technically as far as anyone official is concerned these are not meant for your DC figures. It would just end up a miscellaneous item hiding back in the "collectors" section and would likely go ignored and do poorly back there.
Try contacting PopCultcha, see if they're willing to carry some McFarlane exclusives in Australia.

That Desert Eagle seems a clear reference to Peacemaker's especially with the longer barrel. But he never had a suppressor on it, did he? Or maybe he did that on the show, haven't watched it yet.

In the Suicide Squad when he and Bloodsport are having their pissing match throughout the camp his pistol has a suppressor.

So; guns for Red Hood, Grifter, all the Jokers and the Suicide Squad movie characters.
Well done, Todd. Bloodsport uses every type of gun, so he can grab that AK. |

Other toy stores outside the usa are taking pre-orders of this ranging from $16-$20. Might get two of these.

Best gun for Peacemaker is still the double pistol that was included with Fortnite Inferno, Fortnite A.I.M., and Vin Diesel Bloodshot.

Mmmm, not feeling this one. There's literally not a single weapon in the second pack that I'd use for any of my McFarlane figures.

Harley Quinn's/Joker's cork gun Frankenstein's steam punk pistol And the two ray guns based on ..I'm guessing some stupid DC poorly designed (like 80% of the DC Universe) character. The rest are either based on video game designs or similar real life gun/artillery I made A LOT of money selling most of my 7 inch scale weapons online. And since I go to toy shows I'll buy weapons from the loose bins I see. So yes people want these. And complain when they cant get them retail price anymore and now have to pay $60 to $80 + on eBay/Mercari/Facebook/Etsy. Last edited by T0ySick; 11-10-2022 at 10:35 AM.. |

Which one is Frankenstein's steam gun?
Other than the (kinda) real world guns, I have no idea what any of the other guns are! 2 P-38s (does someone dual wields P-38s?), 2 revolvers, a TAR21, a weird looking MP5 and weird looking P90, the other bullpup rifle looks familiar by I can't place it, and a make-believe gattling gun. Everything else is fantasy, right? |
