I am still unhappy with the physique of the Hot Toys BvS Batman. He looks out of shape, but this figure's proportions look really good to me. Regarding Superman, I do not like the portrait for the Hot Toys version. MMS 200 Man of Steel Superman looked way better, but the rest of the figure looks good. Hopefully HTs fixes their Batman, but either way I am getting this one.

I'd love to snag both Supes and Bats, but thinking of the "Exclusives" and "Variants" that surfaced over the weeks and months following release of the initial plain B&W version of DKR Batman, and thinking of the hefty price tag along with deteriorating foreign exchange, I'm inclined to sit tight and wait to see all the prospective options.
Just guessing, I bet there will be some kind of bundle that includes armored Batman and Wonder Woman, although how they'll pull off a decent-looking WW figure in this line might present a challenge. The little mechanical bits and pieces don't look very good exposed: the fabric costume conceals a great deal that deserves to stay concealed. Wonder Woman in particular would look pretty bad unless she likewise wears some kind of long-sleeved full-body armor... Is anybody else starting to get stoked for this movie? I'm really looking forward to it. Last edited by Skoob; 02-04-2016 at 01:54 AM.. |

Is anybody else starting to get stoked for this movie? I'm really looking forward to it. I'm cautiously optimistic for this movie. While I enjoyed Man of Steel, I'd prefer the first Batman/Superman meeting go more like World's Finest from Superman TAS than jumping straight to the DKR ending. |
