If they do as nice a job with other characters as they did with Frank Miller's stylized Dark Knight, then I could have a new favorite line on this scale.
I especially love the way they cover up the mechanical parts with fabric. That IMO is the ticket going forward: better concealment of better articulation. Very interesting! |

i'm just not a fan of using the fabric suits. they just don't work for me. a fabric cape is one thing, but the fabric suit just REALLY makes it look like a toy.. i'd rather have a superbly textured outfit.

I agree with you generally, but this exception just works for me. The costume was frequently depicted in the book as loose-fitting, even cumbersome, a manifestation of Bruce's baggage. The fabric captures that sense of burden: an Old Man In Tights.

I hope it's a DKR Superman that they are planning. After that, I don't particularly care what they do.
The only thing I don't like about that Batman is that I don't have him yet. |

I feel your pain Gregory. I have all three versions on Pre order, and not one of them had made it in yet due to the port delay.
We need a DKR Supes, DKR Robin and DKR Batman in the suit he fought Superman in. Can't remember the name. I'd also buy a DKR Bruce and Joker. I'd guess a lot of Golden Age designs would look great in this style.
