Agreed, it'd be nice to get a Melissa Benoist Supergirl in the 7-inch scale. The DC Direct version had a great head sculpt (I think the same as the 1/6-scale statue); just re-use that head, sized appropriately.
The casting has been great for all of the CW shows, regardless of how one feels about the shows themselves. I didn't dislike Ruby Rose as Kate Kate, but if they were going to cast the much taller Rachel Skarsten as her twin, Wallis day should've been Kate Kane since Day 1 since they're the same height. (Plus even if they're only fraternal rather than identical twins, Skarsten and Day have a closer resemblance than Skarsten and Ruby Rose.) |

The Dceased figures are not the greatest. They need more than a new headsculpt but oh well. I am hopeing we see the Luchadore figures that were shown. They looked cool.

Well, the limited series comics was so popular that DC is publishing another one, DC vs Vampires.

It looks like McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse figures are going strong into year three of the license. Thanks to Philippines based store DDC-PPP we have listings for items due through May of 2022. There is a lot to parse here, but key points are that DC Collectibles / Direct action figures look to be getting distribution through McFarlane Toys, similar to how they started offering statues this past year. Specifically the Essentials style DCEASED line. There were also 6 inch Batman The Animated Series / New Adventures / Adventures Continue figures in progress or done that never got released from DCC/D before they shut down, so even though they aren?t listed here, they look to be a possibility down the road. Good news for collectors of that line.
Check out the listings below. There are no official pics, release dates or descriptions available at this time, so keep in mind things may change before they are officially revealed via McFarlane Toys. Batwoman Beyond has a blue suit in the comics. If they're really making an unmasked variant, at least re-paint her so that we can switch heads with the masked Target Exclusive for display variety.

Wouldn't be surprised if Ghost-Maker ends up looking like McFarlane's Fortnite Overtaker figure.

so the fans want Shazam and Kyle Rayner, huh? alright, see if there are any comics where they're dressed as Batman. if not, find versions with "black" or "death" in the name. and dammit, they better be spiky!

DCEASED is like McFarlane's dream come true. "Splatter some red paint, slap on a new head and sell the figure again?!?! Sure, I was going to do that anyway!!"

Pretty sure that was DC Icons, I doubt they'd revive that line as well

I'm not gonna lie, I'm here for DC classic looks in 6" scale. I've tried to get into modern DC stories but they just bore me and fall flat. If McFarlane showed more love for some classics I might be more interested but Todd seems only interested in making figures from modern stories. I'm so tired of seeing stuff from Dark Knights Metal. Hopefully with the amount of figures they release every year he'll run out of modern versions at some point and will have to dive into older looks. If I could have a Bronze Age Justice League on my shelf I wouldn't need anything else!

The problem you run into not representing your modern products with your current readers.
Also classic at this point includes everything prior to new52 if not some early years of new52 now. Dark Metal I do feel has gone on WAY too long especially since it's centered on one character. With DC right now, many of the classic costumes are now back in some form. The first Aquaman is from a modern story but his suit is pretty darn close to classic. Superman/Flash/Green Lantern/Aquaman/Batman all have a figure close to a classic look because their modern look is similar....and BENDIS! It's Wonder Woman who especially needs a comic classic like look but I don't think DC is signing off on putting her in a bikini for a mass released toy at the moment. So it's going to be a skirted figure. I feel Mcfarlane is supposed to focus on modern stories by DC/WB but they are kinda skirting around it by picking modern stories that use similar looking costumes. |

I kind of like that that Red Hood could also just be used as a injured Red Hood.

Those DCeased figures are lazy as fuck, man. Just new headsculpts and a smattering of blood.

These figures are garbage...but where already planned by DC Direct before they went under. I'm guessing all of these where already produced at factory level and waiting for post pandemic distribution. And since Mcfarlane took over DC Direct he has the burden of releasing remaining stock.
