Has McFarlane made a basic JLA or BvS style Affleck Batman without the goggles?

Is the back of the Riddler's head wrapped in Saran Wrap?!? But at least he's got a roll of duct tape, because duct tape fixes everything!

The 6" Batman's cape is rounded on the bottom...if he lift up his cape, it'd look like a rounded tablecloth.

The back of the unmasked Batman box shows him holding his mask/helmet, wish it came with that.

The gray outer thong on Catwoman certainly looks strange, because there are no other gray elements on her costume at all. Stylish or not, it just doesn't look like it belongs.

Why does The Riddler come with a car windshield ice scraper?

He looks like one of the gang members from Manhunt on PS2.

Man nothing about this movie looks good, not the promos, not the trailers and DEFINITELY not the figures. These are gonna clog pegs for months if not years. I mean seriously, emo bruce wearing mascara is just awful.

No, the only Batfleck they’ve made is the tactical suit from the end of JL.

I’d certainly like a standard BvS Batman.

Yeah I agree, just alot of things that aren't cool for me. Conceptually alot doesn't match what I would think or expect of Bruce. Way too high profile (richest individual with a very sad story of being orphaned that was well publicized) in Gotham to have that look, not a great disguise and its a dead giveaway.

I'll get around to watching it cause I'm, like many others are, a Batman fan but I've got low expectations even with the hype and promises. Just reminds me of Craig's run as James Bond, aiming for a more raw, gritty, realistic take and trying to do with the more spy genre akin to the books and less about the campy gadget and sexual themes done before.

I could feel sorry for McFarlane, but he must have seen the conceptual designs before he bid on this crap. The shoddy sculpts just add to the crappiness.

This is a real letdown. Nothing has been learned. It's as if there's a deliberate agenda to spoil anything good.

I hope the movie chews. Let the market speak.

I think the "mascara" is the director's attempt to maintain strict realism. Batman actors (and Ruby Rose as Batwoman) almost always have dark makeup around the eyes when they're wearing the cowl, but when they remove the cowl, somehow magically their faces are clean.

I like the Batsuit, but it's probably the only aspect of the movie I appreciate at the moment. I may get the 12 inch statue and call it a day.

Rumors are he's wearing the full Batsuit underneath the street clothes, which may be why he looks so bulky.

lol, yea, what kind of accessory is that? Maybe it is what he uses to "outsmart" Batman at some point in the movie

But yea, I am not sure if the figures are just mediocre or they just didn't have much to work with given the designs. Here is hoping the movie is good though...

I guess the director wanted to make a movie that was even "more real" than the Nolan trilogy, so people who aren't rich like Bruce Wayne are super low tech.

Edit: Just posted a review of Masked Batman. https://www.toyark.com/mcfarlane-toy...review-187520/

It's a solid release but should've included the swappable right hand that comes with the Batcycle.

it's actually not a thong lol or an outer piece, all the other parts of her costume are "leather" except for that "v" which looks to be a stretcher, more movable material so she can i guess kick and jump or whatnot. not sure why Mcfarlane painted it a bright gray, should of been just black

At this point it seems too obvious to NOT be Todd trolling WB.

So this wave consists of:

Emo Bruce Wayne
street corner "scrape the ice off your windshields" guy in baggy coat
Gun hand fat guy
Wanna be Ninja looking catburgler

And some of you are actually gonna buy these? Not to mention the sideways looking eyes. Does WB not know these are based off comic book characters and not real people?

That still looks too overdesigned for what they were going for. If this is supposed to be gritty and realistic, she should've worn a zip up jacket and leggings or something, not a suit from the early X-Men movies

I personally like The Batman costume but Batfleck changed the game. Gritty realism is just an excuse to me now.

But in the end, plenty of people grew up on all black Batman and everyone has their favorite suit.

Now my opinion on Catwoman and Riddler is different. Especially where Mcfarlane is concerned.

As to the figure, I like it but it's still got the backwards Mcfarlane design logic that feels like a pointless weight on the legs.

WB sees one thing - The Dark Knight. They want everything to feel "gritty and realistic" because they can't escape TDK.

"Realistic"? Guns are real yet they don't include them with characters that rate them...that's funny.

So, you're gonna want to check your Batman figures. Some of the masked versions have been shipping with the wrong cape, with the cowl folded back (the one that was supposed to be included with the unmasked version).
