very cool, I might have to get these.
2009 is going to hurt my pocket book 1) new transformer movie figures 2) gi joe movie figures 3) 3 3/4 marvel figures and now these ! oh and that doesn't include my lego addiction. |

So long as Mattel doesn't do like they did the latest MOTU incarnation (20 Billion He Mans and Skeletors clogging the shelves, while other characters are few and far between), I think I'd actually get these myself. Also, depends on the price-point too. $10-$15 is okay, anything higher, forget it.

No thanks, 2000x have the best looking designs, to bad they didn't go with those to give better articulation but eh, and $20 a pop/online only = fail.

Ah, online only? Well, that does make them a little more exclusive, thus warranting the increased price (harder to get = slightly more expensive). At one figure a month it may not be so bad. At retail I wouldn't even consider it, personally, but online it still has my interest. The exclusivity of it is a better idea.

Yeah, bit out of my price range, especially with all the TF stuff coming out now, but cool nonetheless. Hopefully, it's enough of a success for Mattel to really consider giving the franchise another retail launch.
I loved the Horsemen's take and wish that line had continued.
