These are amazing. So stoked about Ram Man. Him and Man-E-Faces are my top MOTU figures.

Wah wah wee wah! Nice reveals!!! I'll be collecting a lot of those origins figs. It's amazing they are thinking of a MASTERVERSE large figure too, whoa. MOTU IS SERIOUS!

Flocked Panthor is almost twice as much? My response to that is "flock off!"
A few accessories pushes figures into $20 deluxe? Clamp Champ as a deluxe? But Ninjor is regular with just a masked head, not soft goods. Okay. Regular Mer-Man. Yay. Burning through good guys so fast they are on Roboto. Okay. Where's the Sorceress? Some one vital to the story (and a harder to get vintage figure), as opposed to bee man. Land Shark. One vintage vehicle I have, so little interest in a new one. But I notice the guns are the same this time. So Keldor in a two pack, but then what was that fan vote Keldor? Masterverse...hopefully Classics compatible so...those people get something. Why are the Imaginext MOTU big sized? Not that I care for that series, but some people really wanted MOTU Imaginext. I hope Masterverse does Classic He-Man also. I hold off on He-Man and Thundercats in hope of more articulated versions.

The version of Keldor in the fan-vote was the version of him shown in the recent comic mini-series... where it was a heroic version of Keldor from Anti-Eternia.. sort of like a Keldor is he was in the Prince Adam role.. so there was a different look.
The Keldor in the 2 pack is the previous version of the Skeletor we're used to. |

I passed on origins hoping for a more classics take. I am not surprised but I am super pleased. Cant wait to see the full reveals. I hope they incorporate the awesome updates from 200x with the improved articulation scheme.

I feel this was one of the best motu reveals ever. Origins is growing on me but I don’t know how deep I’ll go. The little people and minis are just great. The mega construct division at Mattel is just hitting home run after home run. The imaginext figures being 10” instead of the normal small scale is disgusting.
Imaginext is such a great world building outlet for the world of Eternia that the line creates itself. The fact there are not dozens of figures, beasts, vehicles and playsets is the biggest miss I’ve ever seen a toy company make. Mattel should feel ashamed for that piss poor approach in imaginext. How freaking stupid. I was always shocked they never took a swing at ghostbusters when they had the chance either. But they freaking own motu. Pathetic. The masterverse has me intrigued. I’m just starting the comics now and I do like them. I hoped for classics continuing in some form. As I believe did most fans. I still have hope. I really want super7 to pick up classics again, that way the rest of the 87’ movie can be completed. All in all, a great online convention. Why the toy companies couldn’t figure out to do some fun PowerPoint presentations for comic con is beyond me. This is how you do an online convention. |

I'm all in for that Masterverse line... couldnt care less about the Origins line. I was born in the mid-eighties so the He-man golden age was a little before my time. Those squat 5.5in scale figures never really appealed to me.

Looks like a lot of this is not till 2021. That is B.S. I don't like how we can't see the new cartoon toy line.

If Masterverse is what it sounds like (a Modernization of the MOTUC line) then I'm 100% all in! The Origins line is a fun kids toy- but really doesn't appeal to me outside of something I would give the nieces and nephews to play with

I'm liking origins. For what it is worth, they accidently showed She-Ra and Zodac on the cross sell artwork on the back of Panthor.

Evolution of He-Man? You have my attention. I wonder what exactly that entails. My wallet is going to eat itself if I ever actually have access to these.

The evolution of He-Man sounds like something Mcfarlane would make and they are even using the 7in scale. Looks like Mattel wants to give a message to DC using his own beloved brand, Masters of the Universe.

What about the Man-At-Arms/Teela and Mer-Man/Beast Man Origins 2-packs I read about last year? Are they still supposed to be happening? They sounded minicomics inspired (MAA was rumoured to come with a cape).
