If any line EVER needs to avoid worrying about "Angering the Fans" it's Masters of the Universe.

I get that we as fans matter to a degree, but Matty Collector was crippled by how much input and control the fans had on that line, and instead of building it up it became utterly toxic and the figures were impossible to get and locked out new collectors.

Sucks if a straight up exclusive gets released and then re-released, but MOTUO is dealing with a tricky customer base already. Until it's further along I'm very reluctant to see it woo the 'collector' crowd and would much prefer it be made as available as possible to anyone who wants it for at least the next two years.

I couldn't agree more. At one point it felt like all of He-Man.org had devolved into the Mattel complaint department. We were ludicrously lucky to get the Classics line and all the amazing offerings from it, yet you would NEVER guess that reading the comments from people. I just stopped showing up there altogether.

You could have walked into any Walmart for the past few months and picked up the entire first line. There are literally hundreds of every figure on WM shelves right now and it has been that way for months. The only possible exception would possibly be the Battle Sled with Prince Adam. It was very easy to find when the line first came out, but I've noticed it isn't really around these days. Tons of Battle Cats and He-Mans and Skeletors and it took a while but all the rest are warming pegs now. I'd go so far as to say based on the amount of product still left on the shelf that the line is a total bust, and we'll be lucky if we get anything past this first big wave of non-Walmart items. We'll probably get one more so they can save face, but after that I think Origins will disappear and be completely replaced by the 7" line. If that somehow fails then it'll go back to Super7, because I know they want to start up making more Reaction and Classics based on the owner's comments on the main Reaction Facebook group.

Thoughts on the most recent round of pre-order reveals? Anyone?

My thoughts....I want pics. I really want to see what green Mattel goes for on green goddess.

Actually not the first time Mattel does this with one of his brands. This is why I don't buy any Mattel exclusive.
