Stands are a most welcome addition. I, too, would prefer to continue the numbering. I thought that's why there where three digits present. Ideally, they could go up to 999 before having to restart. Oh well. No big deal really.

I'm actually not sure if I like the names on the stands. I was kind of hoping for blank stands. Especially knowing they'll be doing Series 2 - 001, then Series 3 - 001 in 2011.

Well considering how the stands are done, it wouldn't be hard to get print out new labels for a bunch on sticker paper, with their numberings...
Sadly I do agree about the starting over of the numbers though. =/ They could have at least added an S2 01 or something to help distinguish the waves better. Or even just S001 for series one, and H001 for series 2... (S for Shield, H for Hammer, and so on) Or had the stands use the hammer or shield insignia more like the joe ones, among many other choices. I guess this was just the cheapest route as an afterthought since the line boomed more than they may have anticipated alongside the demand for stands. |

Jean Gray looks horrible imo. It looks like she has no neck.
And Wolverine's face just looks goofy. The ones they had in the X-man origins line were much better. |

I hope sooner than that even, that warpath is so tempting. If only hasbro could have a figure subscription service.

Only problems I got are why don't we have Vision images, Why is Jean's neck gone, why does Wolverine's head sculpt suck, and why oh why would they use black costume spidey's mold for House of M Spidey?
Don't get me wrong, I'm gonna get all of this wave except Wolverine. Well, I may not get Spidey. We'll see. |

Definately excited about Jean, Sunfire, and Warpath, couldn't care less about the other 2 though.

I have no answer for Jean Grey. Wolverine's head will be replaced with the unmasked yellow Tiger costume wolverine from XMOW line when I get him, so I don't care much. As for Spidey's black costume mold, I think it's because with the classic costume mold the web lines were molded in, which made for an EXTREMELY sloppy paint application (the worst paint apps, consistently, of all the MU molds so far, does any one else disagree with this?). The Black Costume mold allows for a more customized paint job without the need to conform to the mold restrictions in the weblines.

I found these guys at my local FYE yesterday if it's news I'll post the pics off my camera phone if someone can teach me how to.
Oh, and the Wolverine looks like he has the down syndrome. They really must have messed him up in the factory or something because he is horrendous. Last edited by megatronkicksas; 11-28-2009 at 08:45 AM.. |

I saw two Wolverines, a Sunfire and a House of M Spider-Man at a Kentucky Wal-Mart last week. I didn't think to take a photo and I'm waiting to buy until I can get Jean Grey and Warpath.

I just saw House of M Spidey and Xavier School/Bottom-Budget-Face Wolverine yesterday in Sioux Falls. The others weren't present, so they've probably been there a little while.

The new waves are awesome. Hasbro could throw us a bone and simply repackage some stands (you might recall G.I Joe would release assessory packs in the 80s full of all kinds of guns and stuff). I've already picked up Wolverine and Jean Gray. As for the neverending wave of repackaged Spidermans, its worth the patience if allows for more obscure characters like Vision and Warpath to make 3 3/4 appearances.
