When it comes to interesting toys, my real aim is to be able to do this for years. I've been working on it for more than 20 years. My childhood was always spent in toys. That child spirit is still with me and has never left. My collection definitely has a purpose other than a hobby. A cultural collection and bringing together the old and the new in a harmonious way according to my wishes. Bringing together only what I want and what I love, not what is popular. Maybe it's not ready yet, but I've been preparing a book about toys for a long time.

All comments make me happy. Thank you so much.
A book about such a diverse group of toys would definitely be very intriguing.

I'm a little OCD, so I'm a completist. To keep myself from over-spending (which I already am), I tried very hard to focus. Currently I tell myself if it's not Star Wars, Marvel, GIJoe or Transformers then I won't get it (althought Transformers is slowly losing me). However, every once in a while McFarlane figures do get my money. So seeing your collection is so refreshing, just a little of everything. I know I could never have a collection like yours...having 3 of the 4 Turtles would simply drive me nuts! Ha ha. So it's so fascinating to see stuff I never knew existed.

Thank you very much for your support. I am very happy to see that you understand my philosophy and your deep comment is important to me.

I'm sure your collection is much larger and more magnificent than mine. I think everyone's collection is very special and valuable. Yes, sometimes our interests and favorite characters may be different, but I think it is very important that they are not the same style.

I don't think there should be similar collections. It's nice to see everyone's different tastes.

The budget issue is pushing me hard right now. The prices of figures and sculptures have increased a lot and it is difficult to get them. Neca McFarlane and Mezco are my favorites in this trio of new figures, but I lack a lot.

While making this collection, I think ahead and the subject of the museum is in the back of my mind, but this is just a big dream right now. ha ha

I was pretty unlucky with the Ninja Turtles figures. It was very strange that when I bought it a long time ago, only the Michelangelo figure was finished in the market.

Thanks for your comments.

Oh, I absolutely agree that it's nice to see different peoples' collections for their different interest and taste.

Say, you used to have a pretty decent Despicable Me collection, what happened to those? Rise of Gru is coming out!

Unfortunately, I can say that there is no space left on my shelves and in my room anymore. For this reason, I put the Despicable Me series in a box right now. In fact, too many of my figures that I could not display are waiting in boxes. If there was room on my shelves, I would like to display it immediately, but it has become impossible to find an empty space.

I'm thinking of sharing photos of my toys that I can't display soon.

Trust me, I know the feeling! I have a lot of older Toybiz and McFarlane figures which I still love, but simply don't have the display space for them anymore! First world problem for sure! Ha ha.

Newly added toys to my collection. In general, I was happy to encounter toys from the old period. To give a few examples, for example, Getafix is a figure from 1995. Alf is a very high quality figure from 1988. The horse figure is from 1971 and I plan to add a jockey on it soon and display it.

The Mouse and the Mole, one of the figures from the Lurchi series, must belong to 1970. Shin-Chan figures are from 1992. I don't know about Rabbit and Arcade Tickets. The orange Gi Joe figure is from 1992. Two mini figures are from the Pic-nic Surprise series and are from the 90s. Mickey Mouse pez candy boxes are the 2007 Special Edition version.

I hope everyone enjoys looking at the photos. Thank you so much.

Man, where do you find that stuff?!?! Out of everything that you showed, I know exactly ONE thing: Robojoe!

Although yours seems more like someone melted 1/2 his face instead of 1/2 of face being mechanical.

And that Alf, that's nightmare fuel!

Cool stuff.

Thank you very much for your comment and support. Actually, I usually shop at flea market and online. But right now my budget is not good and I am trying to fix it. As I mentioned before, I am trying to create a different collection.

As for the Robo Joe figure, yes you are right, my figure is not in good condition. He came with a different weapon, I'll add a photo of him, maybe you know which figure it belongs to. I bought it because I thought it was one of the most interesting figures among this Gi Joe series.

Thank you very much again.

Mickey in the blue hat came to my Mickey Mouse collection today. Bully produced in 1985. Also, as a collector who loves Batman, I wanted to buy the Wii game when I found it.

Thank you very much for visiting my page and commenting. I'm glad you liked it.

I purchased the Dr Light figure a long time ago. A small but beautiful figure. Black Cat is missing a few pieces, but it looks good in the collection. I am so glad you liked it. I especially recommend the Black Cat figure.

Of course, I would like to give advice for Lara Croft. The Playmates figures look gorgeous if you're considering older version. I've been looking for a long time to add to the collection. I recommend that you review them. Especially Playmates Jungle Outfit and Wetsuit look very nice, but I think the series is successful in general.

The large Lara Croft figure was made by neca. It has speaking feature. Beautifully made and about 30 centimeters. But the material used seemed a bit strange to me. It could have been done in more detail.

The other blue outfit figure is the Anniversary version. Neca brand. It is a really beautiful figure and very detailed. Especially the fact that it looks like it is flying in the air makes the figure attract attention. I would definitely recommend.

Lara Croft, in the form of a statue, is the version she wore outfit in the Nevada episode from the third game. Produced by Core Design. I think this series is good and sums up parts of old games very well. If you can find it, I recommend it because there are so many.

I hope I could help. Thank you very much again.

Time for some Batman That is a nice pick up! Game got overshadowed back then due to Arkham games, but has its own charm.

Thank you very much for your comment. Yes, it has a very different style and especially reminds me of Batman animated series cartoons.

Thanks you have been very helpful, I looked up the playmates Lara Croft and she looks great, she’s definitely going to be added to my collection soon.

The black cat is a great figure and I especially love her head sculp, but the only thing keeping me from getting her is she seems too have a bit much cleavage, but I will definitely get her if i see her for a good price as she has always been my favorite marvel villainess ever since I found a figure of her when I was a kid and started reading her comics.

I thank you. I'm so glad I could help.

It's nice to have your own options and set criteria for your collection. Thus, I think you have created an original collection.

My idea is usually to add whatever toy I like to my collection.

Of course, I love popular toys, but it doesn't matter to me that they are popular. I really like it more to display it because I love it in my collection.

By the way, having the whole forum together today created a nice conversation. This is great.

It has been great

And my collection has a couple odd balls, but I love them and I don’t really care what others think as liking the unpopular things usually leads to cheaper purchases lol.

It's definitely best to collect the figures you want and love by buying them. I think we agree on this. I think that's what toy collecting culture is like. I do not find it right to look at someone else's collection and do exactly the same. It's like a copy.

I don't care too much about what other people say.

Of course, people can give ideas, but the final decision is definitely up to us, the collectors.

I think the figures in this photo you added are from the Doctor Who series. I haven't had a chance to watch it yet. I am sure these figures are very important and valuable for you. Of course, someone else may not like it, which is quite natural.

Star Wars series are very few in my collection. A movie series that I respect. Many star wars figures came to me as gifts. However, I don't like the star wars series.

I am sure that there are figures in my collection that many people do not like.

It is always best to buy the figures we absolutely love.

Very true. I totally agree with you, I love getting posing ideas from other peoples pics and hearing peoples thoughts but in the end I want my collection to be what I truly like and displayed in a way that makes me happy.

And yes the giant spider lady is from doctor who, I haven’t watched the show but she’s is just freaking awesome, but the Medusa is actually from the spawn toy line. (only Todd mcfarlane could get away with making nightmare fuel toys lol)

Thank you so much. Yes, you are absolutely right.

Spawn series yes true. McFarlane figures are really very different in this regard, and he has too many figures.

I also have McFarlane figures in my collection, but I don't have any of the Spawn characters yet.

I only have four spawn figures but they are sculpted very nicely and while I don’t mind it they have barely any articulation.
I just wish the females in mcfarlanes monsters didn’t look like they do.

You're welcome. I am happy for you. I can imagine his excitement.

You really made a good choice. This outfit is an outfit she wore in the London episode in game 3. A very nice piece for your collection. Congratulations

I'll be posting some new photos from my collection soon. Thank you very much.

Soon I’ll be getting a display cabinet for my favorites, she will definitely be in it.

And it’s nice to know where the outfit originated, I’m going to have expand my knowledge on the tomb raider franchise.

I can’t wait to see the new photos of your collection.

Your idea for a new showcase is very nice. I was thinking of buying a small showcase for a long time, but my room is too small and nothing can fit anymore. I'm thinking about where to put the toys I bought recently. There are some toys that I can't display and they are all in boxes.

We finished the entire Tomb Raider series when it came out. We were playing as a family and everyone was giving ideas while solving the game. I remember most of the games because we played for a long time. I still play the game on old consoles from time to time. The old series was very good, but I did not like the new series very much.

Maybe a few toys will arrive this week. I will share their photos.
