Looking good. I'm surprised he doesn't include the necronomicon, perhaps there will be a bloody version that comes with different accessories like the shovel. Of course if they do any of the deadites those could include the book.

Very nice. And for once they nailed the likeness of young Bruce Campbell. Not a shot against but it's always seemed like no one can get his face right. Them, Mezco, Mcfarlane, Sideshow. Not a one. And if there's anyone I'm forgetting they probably missed the mark too. This is very impressive.

Sry quoted the wrong person... but they did include the Necronomicon in the Evil Dead 2 version.

Yeah they did, although it was the AoD version for whatever reason, and then they did a proper ED2 book in the two pack and the Walmart hero Ash release, but the book was a little different in the original movie so it has merit for inclusion with this figure (or maybe with a Deadite from the first movie).

Looks great! Now I need to find a 1/12th scale bookshelf or two. Just saw the film recently at a Fathom Event on the 7th, and those scenes just got me.

Man, this looks great! I had kit bashed some old Evil Dead 2 figures to make a more clean looking "early" Ash figure but it still has more damage to it so it doesn't have that clean look I really wanted. Love the accessories this has too. I hope we get a full Deadite Cheryl so we can fill out our Deadites and she comes with the Necronomicon and Kandarian Dagger from this film. They were significantly different enough to justify it I think.

He looks amazing, I can't wait. The only thing missing is the book, which is unique in the first film. Perhaps it will come with a bloody Ash later down the road. I hope this is only the beginning.

The figure looks great, but is it me, or is something weird about his proportions? It's like his shoulders are a little too broad and his arms a little too long and lanky? It just looks monkey-like to me in a way. I dunno.

Great for those who like it.
But I already have 3 ash so I'll pass on this one. Give us new licences in the ultimates lines and not always the same. |

I think it will feel more novel if they do some of the supporting cast from the film. Those characters don't get much attention.

The same could be said for almost all of NECA's lines. For example, I'd fucking kill for a Tommy Jarvis figure from the Friday the 13th series, and their Godzilla line could have benefitted from something other than just Godzilla.
