Damn, yeah, this sounds promising. Haven't bought a NECA toy in years... handled a few like the Karate Kid stuff, wasn't too impressed, but even if this breaks and/or I am disappointed with it right out of the box, I'll probably get Goliath for now anyway... Demona would be my other must-have.

Weird how some NECA stuff goes up for preorder the day of their reveal, and some gets announced and then crickets for months haha

I feel like this is something that would've been normally seen at Toy Fair earlier in the year and then we'd get a 2 month wait haha.

Closed wings would be nice for long term shelf display. That's a lot of real estate on the shelf. If you put figs in front of the wings, and he tips, dominoes. But hey, still awesome so I'll shut up now.

I wouldn't want to go deep into the show, but I'd rock a Demona and Bronx mutt with this guy along with my Turtles/Tcats/MOTU nook.

If this figure does well then I'm going to need Thailog and Xanatos is red armor with alternate heads.

Then they can milk both Goliath and the Xanatos armor for alternate colors/clones.

Yeah, still waiting for preorders to go up for American Werewolf in London, The Thing's Macready, and the Universal Monsters Mummy and Wolfman they teased on Twitter awhile back. Plus I'm still waiting to see ANYTHING from the Hammer Horror license they reportedly got last year.

Outside of some issues with the Rat King, I haven't had any issues with the rest of their cartoon TMNT stuff.

Hell, April is on my shelf in wacky karate poses and so far she's gotten into every crazy pose I've done with her fighting Shredder.

I would have loved to order this figure - but those knees are so fugly it completely ruins it for me.

I don't know what you find wrong with the knees? I like how NECA does their knees, you don't have two cuts and looks better for most standing poses. I can't believe you'd not order this over joints, you'll never get anything else from this license except maybe 1 Ultimates! by Super7 in like 3 years.

The knee joints are fine. Things start getting ugly when they use it for their elbow joints.

Yeah I think I'll pass. I'm just not comfortable with buying NECA products, I've had way too many bad experiences with this company / their releases.

It's definitely cool seeing Gargoyles getting some recognition though.

The wings look similar to the Bat Gremlin's wings. If that's the case, getting them into a cape style pose is probably a possibility.

Yeah agreeing with everything that's been posted, especially the critical ones (QC, availability, legs/knees, etc.) NECA will definitely get some decent sales action from this property and its not too difficult getting reuse for other characters. I'm a bit surprised they just went off with Goliath, a tease of him would have been great if they had Lexington and Hudson first to get a guage of demand. Looking forward to see what NECA does with this and oh, I'd be all over a Bronx if they put one out.

For this Goliath, I would have liked either an alt head with light up eyes or a folded down wing-cape or both those features, you know for that it being "ultimate."
That would have tipped me.
