Makes me laugh. Fun stuff. If I knew I could get most of the cartoon and movie stuff at retail I'd feel more comfortable buying this. At some point if I have no choice but to buy the ones I really want on the after market, it will need to be purchased very carefully to fit my budget. There's a chance they stay at the 3x price so I'd have to be much more careful what I pick.

I usually don't buy variants of figures, but I kinda feel like I need this. The Coming Out of Their Shells tour was the first concert I ever attended.
Used to nab my sister's boombox and set up the Playmates Rock Star Turtles on top of it so they could jam their music for my other toys.

Rand my just alluded via twitter that today’s Predator SDCC reveal may be Predator 2 themed to coincide with the 30th anniversary... Part of me is Says there is a slight chance we could finally get a detective Harrigan, but I don’t want to disappoint myself.

I think it could possibly be a semi-cloaked City Hunter from the scene when the meat factory sprinklers make his cloaking malfunction, an ultimate version of the regular Lost/ Borg Predator that features more scaled down/ less cybernetic melee weapons, another fully cloaked Predator, a battle damaged City Hunter.

I guess we’ll find out in a few hours...

Interesting. I never followed the various stage shows of “hit franchises”. I vaguely remember commercials for it. Were these shows ever any good? I remember my dad getting tickets to the mortal kombat stage show, thinking he was going to get “brownie points” for it, but I didn’t have any interest in going. He sold them to the neighbors.

They were usually pretty bad. The Masters of the Universe and Thundercats ones were especially cringe-worthy.

Wow! LOL I vaguely remember commercials for the He-Man show. IIRC the He-Man actor was rocking a killer mullet wig. Don't remember Thundercats one... my grandmother in her bathrobe would have made a great Mumm-ra. lol

Wow, really milking it huh NECA. Good for the super TMNT fan, but for me and I'm sure some others this was the turning point. Thanks for making me remember. Neat accessories. Makes me wonder if they'll make some of the human characters, if they're going this far, why not a Vanilla Ice one?

The Turtles one... was a thing. As you can see here.

The music wasn't bad though, for what it was. Definitely leaned into the "rock ballad" side of things, but some of it's rather enjoyable.

Ice was never in the stage show, and I doubt his rights/royalties would be as easy to deal with.

Neca: "Great photos, Joe! You can send those figures back, by the way. We left return postage in the box."

Joe: "bbbzt... bzzzzzzzt... going under... bzzzztt... bridge... can't bzzzztt hear you... bzzzt..."

Joe places set in his TMNT display and snickers maniacally, having avoided the headache of trying to locate this set in the wilds.

Amazing pics! I vividly remember when the Coming Out of Their Shells tour was a thing, and vividly remember hating it Hahaha I guess I was at the age where I could still be into Ninja Turtles, but the thought of them singing and dancing around stage was too "kiddie".

Anyway, I think this is a perfect exclusive set from Neca. Cool for those who are into it, but by no means a must-have for the collection. Personally, I love it and will pick up a set if I ever come across one in person.

Is there a place holder page for these? I can't find any direct links other than just target.com. Usually by now someone has found a place holder page.
