I already have all the endos I can handle, but this is good news for those that don't. Nice packaging, BTW.

The new head design looks more like an angry mask than a human skull. Covered with flesh, the new features would hardly support a convincing facsimile of a human face. I suspect the label "endoskeleton" is retained simply as a matter of convention. Exaggerated body proportions are the big giveaway: the new movie will probably depict this guy romping among the ruins without any covering or concealment at all. (Commence jokes about a terminator "exposing himself.")
Edit: Seen HERE, the new skull design looks very anthropomorphic (human). If the NECA figure is based on the same design, then it may look really good up close. Last edited by Skoob; 04-14-2015 at 01:32 PM.. |

That being said I hope this has better quality control than its original release. The Robocop vs Terminator endoskeletons were better but still kinda flimsy, though that's really the design's fault for being so skeletal and frail.

@Joe: Thanks for clarifying. This is timely, as I'd like to pair the original endoskeleton with my upcoming Ultimate. (You'd almost think they anticipated some collectors wanting to do that.) I look forward to reviews. Rgds

The one Movie Maniacs figure that the NECA version never manages to top. I will wait to see what this looks like in hand, but I think I would only get it for the better rifle if at all.

T2 ENDO
yes please god i love NECA, using their PRED playbook “they’re like yeah we know, we gave you a T2 ENDO already plus 3 more in 16-bit but fucc it … we’re releasing again, …now what homie” makes sense, the film is jus around the corner, so milk it plus can never have enough ENDOs that box laser beam insert is tight now if NECA could just make/release a T2 HK tank as a deluxe vehicle to go with my wonderful ENDOs |
