I don't remember if it was ever mentioned but really hope we get a creature from the black lagoon. Him and the bride are my biggest wants

I can see the Bride as probably part of the next batch of releases. Not sure about the creature, he was pretty much at the end of that era for Universal (if thy want to keep a chronological-ish release schedule). It would be interesting if they also do a Glenn Strange or even a Bela Franenstein's Monster.

Randy previously mentioned that the plan is to dig deep into the license and have a number of releases for each character.

Fingers crossed for color versions! Not store exclusives either!

I'm just glad they officially clarified that Bela Lugosi Dracula is happening. I wonder if they're going by periods of the films. If so perhaps next batch is Bride of Frankenstein (hopefully with an extra swan hissing and bandaged head), Invisible Man, Son of Frankenstein?, or Phantom of the Opera? Though I would hope they skip ahead in time and make the Creature from the Black Lagoon.

Can they make a figure of this version of Bella Lugosi?

No one cares about the pool old Metaluna Mutant from This Island Earth, who actually is an official Universal Monster. I want NECA to make one.

I'd certainly be up for it. It kind of falls in with the Universal Monsters period, but along with the Creature marks a transition from the classics to more Science Fiction.

I certainly hope NECA makes one, but if I have to make do woth the DST or Sideshow versions I'm sure they'll fudge into the collection nicely haha

I wish the 1st release of Frankenstein was full color and the B&W was a re-issue.

I prefer them starting with B&W, with the right lighting you can get a glimpse of the original films' atmosphere. If they do color, I would prefer sticking with movie color styles like they did with King Kong. I wonder, do you think we might see some other characters, ala Colin Clive as Henry Frankenstein. Also, would be neat to get fez and robes Imhotep. Lots of potential here.

I wish they would do Imhotep the way he appeared in 90% of the movie as opposed to the opening segment like everyone else has done ever. If you want to make a fully mummified character, then do Karis instead.
That minor nitpick aside, I am looking forward to see what NECA does with them overall. It would be pretty cool to have Zombie Jason fight the Monster.
