The All Star line was in stores? I thought it was some weird online exclusive.
I only managed to get New 52 Bats and Supes because of my local comic shop. Although, I did find the DC Unlimited at TRU, but the Batman Unlimited was nowhere to be found. |

I was talking to some one at my target in Midtown (Mia/fl) and he was looking for the batman from wave 1, he mentioned to me that the DC Unlimited should be out by now, (wave 2). And as I was "window shopping" at the TrU in Hialeah I saw these [pics]. They only had Supes, Hawk, and Flash...would have gotten Flash but after seeing that the lightning on him can't be removed, I passed (so much for my JLA build up). And I'm not too crazy about Clark's new suit either...

YA! I did noticed that too, I would have liked it without the painted lines and the sculpted lighting....

What do you mean the lightning can't be removed??? The transparent yellow lightning is TOTALLY removable. the piece on the back is just a peg and hole and the arm pieces almost fall off on their own. I actually put the arm lightning on the back of his boots and it looks WAY better. OR do you mean the panel lining yellow on the suit??? I am fine with the yellow panel lines since that is how he looks now. (even if they did not fill them in on the head)
Thanks for clearing that up for me, now I may actually buy the figure....

Yeah, here are some pics I took when I got mine:
He is friggin awesome because his insignia is sculpted on instead of just pained (same for N52 Sups), the joints are tight, and the paint job is nearly flawless.

Yeah, DCnU Flash is pretty boss, but I still don't understand the whole "let's sculpt lines in the face and leave them unpainted and paint lines on the body but don't cut them in" thing.

This bothers me too. And the fact that almost all the Flash figs I have seen have really bad paint apps on the face. The flesh tone overlaps the chin and jawline extremely badly on some of them.

Morzilla......No idea how long you have been getting the DC classics, but the "lightning" on 52 Flash is virtually the same idea as the lightning they used WAAAAAAYYYYYY back years ago on the Red and Blue energy Superman and I am almost 100% sure it is the same parts as the White Lantern Flash figure. White Lantern Flash had clear energy, but they are the same mold.

I did finally get the 52 Flash, he's ok but the packaging fucked up his legs and I can't pose him in a running mode [pic-1] so I have to invent something....not just standing like Vig...[last pic]

I saw one Batman Planet X figure in person, and it'd been mine if the paint apps weren't complete shit. I was highly disappointed. Sorry for the poor photo quality. It didn't look up to par, there were little chucks of paint missing all over the figure, and that is bullshit in my opinion. Anyway, it's out there, so good luck hunting!

I think I just want the baseball bat out of there! I've been wanting to start a baseball team with my Justice Leaguers.

I've been getting them for quite some time now, but not all of them just the ones I like. I do remember the R&B Supes when they came out, but never was a big fan of either the comic nor these figures so I passed. I thought about getting the white and blue along with the regular flash figure then but with all the "Blackest Night"hoopla I just decided to focus only on GL Hal, WL Hal, and BL Hal. and of course I can't forget YL Sinestro.

Mine fell right into place so I didn't have to do too much finessing. Good luck! |

^After reading the above post and youtubing a bit, I tried this on a couple DCUC figs that had major leg warpage due to the package posing. Worked like a freakin champ!
Here is the video I thought was particularly helpful: |

Not a bad method, but I much prefer using two cups and actual ice water. Just my preference.

While they were sculpting him with a new frowny face, they should've gone the extra mile and made his head the correct shape as in the comics. I mean, if your'e gonna have comic art right on the stinkin' packaging, you might as well make sure it looks like the comic in question.

Same for me. Zur-en-Ahh Bats doesn't do it for me but that Bat-Mite with the black & gray color scheme and alt. head is pretty dope.

Ok since it seems like this thread might end up being for the NEW DC figures & since we've all chatted about the new Batman Unlimited figures I guess I can post the pics from the target at Midtown, Miami (SoFla).
I was considering getting the Batgirl to go along with the other one [legacy] or Bats, since I have several different ones but then I realized I have more than enough batmen and after careful inspection of the Batgirl I think I might just pass....yes you did read right, passed. Didn't like the cowl/neck on Barbie, that threw me off, looks separated from the shoulders and too thick... I'm just waiting to get my clammy hands on the DKR Batman, he would seriously look wicked next to the superman from DC Direct's Batman: DKR
