Yeah, it's been over for a bit now.

I can't wait, sucks it's going to take so long.

I pledged for the normal velociraptor and also grabbed the Linheraptor and Acheroraptor. I think I'm most excited for the Acheroraptor.

yea, i might just hold out then on preordering. i like the Atrociraptor mashalli. also was interested in trying to get the blue kickstarter exclusive one, however i'll just wait til these come out.

These IMO will be like the creatureplicas and the mystic warriors ( bird warriors) they'll take a while to come out, however they will be worth it down the line. im still awaiting my preorder of the Raven warrior figure.

I pledged, but due to a credit card theft issue, I had to cancel my card before I could go through with the pledge, and didn't get my replacement card until after the kickstarter finished. So glad there is the backer kit pre-orders for those that couldn't do the kickstarter! Nabbed me the Kestrel Dromaeosaur.

Where can I get one since I missed out on the Kickstarter?

Just a heads up, pre-orders for these items are available to non-Kickstarter folks, and that pre-order window closes on the 14th (Monday). If you're interested, head on over and pick some up!

As cool as these are, $40 is a bit too much for me. Especially if you wanted to collect a whole line of these... If he can make a 7" scale T-rex and other large dinos for under $25, he'd have a customer for life.

7" scale as in the T-rexes are ~7 inches tall and/or long, or 7" scale as in 1/10th scale? Because these raptors that he's making are 12" long, and, while 1/6 scale, are realistically sized for that scale, which means they'd be about as big as pop culture's image of raptors for 1/12-1/10 scale figures. If he were to make a 1/10th scale T-rex, it'd be at least 3 times as long, if not more, and there's no way it'd only cost $25.

Man, those all look so nice.
I had a brutal time narrowing down my selection, but eventually I landed on:

Nice, the heads on all of them are just so cool looking. I hope everything goes smoothly and they don't run into any major problems.

I want to get a few more, but I decided to wait til May/June (July?) when these get released. Once I have my Kickstarter in hand, and can feel the quality, then I can decide to invest in a few more designs I like. Yeah, it'll probably cost more, but that's ok by me. Rather pay $50ea for something I like than buy $100+ at $35 ea and be stuck with crap. I've been disappointed too many times by fantastic prototypes becoming crap final product.

I have faith and hope in Silva, hence my initial investment in the Kickstarter, but I'm hesitantly optimistic.

If this line is as successful as we all hope it is, I'm really looking forward to a few favorites: the 1/32 scale tyrannosaur, a 1/24 scale stegosaur, and a 1/72 scale Titanosaur (all would be approx 12 to 18in long).

I would have been all over this if they just would have released Deinonychus, which is what the raptors from Jurassic Park more closely resembled than the actual Velociraptor.

Yea because they don't stand on their own I decided I'll wait til released and see if they can kinda stand on their own. I'm not one for stands like my . Variable Action Heroes One Piece Chopper figure needs a stand it's really annoying so I stuck with Articulated Icons for the time being

Still REALLY nice looking sculpts

I don't mind bases and stands.. I wish I could buy some in bulk for cheap (especially hot toys mk 42 style bases)

Should be a solid spring/summer with hot toys war machine mk 3, blue steel, mk 46, and these guys. Can't wait.

They'll definitely be spending some time displayed as pets for hot toys deadpool.
