I was expecting more but the situation they're in right now made sense to me. We've had a ton of leaks this year so we have a good idea of what the other waves we're getting are, and a lot of them consist of things they aren't allowed to talk about due to MCU tie-ins (the rest of the Disney+ wave, the waves for Shang-Chi and The Eternals, the second Disney+ wave and the wave we're getting for Spider-Man 3). Five waves is a pretty hefty percentage of their output, and given they plan to do further livestreams and things like Fan First Friday and Marvel Monday, I get why they wanted to save stuff for those.
We know there is gonna be a retro Fantastic Four wave and a whole slew of Infinity Saga stuff, but I can see why they want to parse out those reveals over the year instead of dropping everything at once. |

^Retro Antman was made. It was in the same vintage wave that the Wasp Joe just also shared was in.

EDIT Err..well, I did miss it as I had no clue what you were alluding to. I am really bad about MCU stuff and almost immediately 'turn the channel' in my mind when it's mentioned... Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 04-11-2021 at 05:00 PM.. |

I got the new DST Hulk today, personally I think he's too big for Legends but if you're already using a Select Hulk or missed out on the 80th anniversary figure and don't mind fudging the scale he's pretty great.

...small Wasp 3.75 figures (and tiny bonus 1.5 inch figurines) can also match her future / past 6 inch figures...

Classic Antman in 6' scale has yet to be made by Hasbro, that Walgreens version is not classic Antman nor is the 2 pack one that came with Stinger.

He's likely hung up on the helmet - bulbous with straight antennae potentially being his preferred.
What's interesting is the suggestion that "Hasbro" specifically has yet to issue a 'classic' Antman, which implies that Toy Biz may have somehow delivered. Beyond the subjective nature of what's considered classic, technically, the Toy Biz figure also has inaccuracies. But whatever, good luck getting another shot at a classic Antman that accurately nails all the nuanced minutiae of wrist/boot cuff design, color (blue-black gloves, boots, and trim), placement of Pym Particle pods, and helmet. Personally, I'm hoping for a Yellow Jacket, however, that uniform is closely associated with his domestic abuse phase and I'm not certain whether that's played a role in why it hasn't been revisited yet. Edit: One thing I forgot to mention about the Guardsman figure is my anticipation of the fists for that medium-large mold. I've hopes that they are properly sized as they look to be, but in hand I'll be able to discern with confidence. If my observation proves to be true, we're one step closer to getting properly sized fists for the battling Sub-Mariner, Cap, Wonder Man, and Punisher figs. Yay. According to Tatooinesandworm on The Fwoosh, the line-up for AOA wave 2 is Sabretooth, Magneto, Colossus, Kitty Pryde, Iceman, Rogue and Legion. BAF unknown. Retro Fantastic Four wave is (obviously) the four themselves and then two characters whose names begin with "P" and "H" respectively.

@hasbroherofan - I assume Johnny will be the Human Torch, but I'm curious if Invisible Woman will be completely visible, completely invisible, or a mixture of both. Also, for the characters listed as starting with the letter "H" and the character listed starting with the letter "P" might be Hate-Monger and Puppet Master, Psycho-Man or Paste Pot Pete. I'm kind of shocked there's likely no Mole Man in the Retro Fantastic Four wave, since he was the very first Fantastic Four villain.
Curiously, the Retro Spider-Man figures of Black Costume Spider-Man and Hobgoblin that were leaked didn't get mentioned on the checklist. Also, Cyclops is listed by tatooinesandworm as being in the AOA wave, not Colossus. As a side note, is anyone else disappointed we don't get a single person of color in the second Age of Apocalypse wave? No Storm? No Bishop? Really, Hasbro? It's all a bunch of Caucasian characters? I would be very surprised if it turned out to be Hate-Monger...

Cyclops would make more sense as an individual in the wave. AoA Colossus was huge, if anything he might be the BAF given Kitty's presence in the wave. Regarding the lack of diversity, the X-men are mostly Caucasian so it's not that surprising. AoA Bishop might not be high on Hasbro's radar since, despite his importance to the story, he's a raggedy hobo version of himself. We might get Storm and Quicksilver in a two pack since they were a couple in AoA.

I am all in for a Legion figure if true! I would not have guessed him but he makes since for the theme storywise. I wonder too with the possible inclusion of Kitty if that makes Colossus as the BAF more likely? Kitty feels like an odd choice for me without a Colossus when they could of chosen someone like Storm. I always did enjoy AoA Kitty.

If Abyss, Mikhail or Holocaust are not the Build-A-Figure for the AOA Wave 2, the least Hasbro can do is put them in a box set with AOA Mister Sinister.

Tatooinesandworm also put up the listings for the No Way Home wave.

I didn't want to be the one to post it. Lol.
But we're all friends here, no disrespect ment. I'll admit I would have liked the helmet to have the straight antlers personally, but overall he's a good figure. |

MCUcollector 24 did an interview with Dwight, Dan and Ryan. In it, the Legends team confirmed the next X-Men wave after AOA wave 2 isn't themed and is going to be another grab bag of multiple decades like the previous waves.
In addition to the new Ironheart and Domino, there'll be a new figure soon on a new female body with double jointed arms and legs that they plan on making standard. |

I do not like that F4 rumor! (if true). I knew it! 6 figures and once again 4 are taken up by the main 4. I was really hoping they'd do 2/2 split with 2 in the wave and 2 as single figures like they did with Rogue/Gambit (but maybe not at Target). No wonder we cannot build out the F4 corner of ML. I'm surprised there's not a Doom or Silver Surfer in there. I know I harp on this, but look at this, once again if rumor holds, it's true.
I am not thrilled with the AoA wave rumor, but it does mark off 3 of the 4 figures I thought were most likely. Obviously would still buy and I can't deny that Legion was very important to setting/reversing the storyline (but so was Bishop....) Then again unlike the rest of that storyline, I was never that keen on the versions of Colossus and Kitty Pryde. I admit, was really hoping for a Storm, that look is so different than any other look she's had, minus the same style/different color boots she had for GSXM. Gosh though I was really hoping for some of the AoA Horsemen. I would gladly buy a 4 pack of them even if Rasputin was fairly forgettable. Next X-men wave hopes/predictions early 2022 or late 2021? Thinking early 2022. If we get Excalibur in a box set then no need for Shadowcat, otherwise she.is.a.must. No two ways about it. Wolverine of some sort because we have to., Classic Angel, Banshee (either GSXM or Jim Lee both have their selling points), Monet (not sure what version), Australian Outback Psylocke, Quinten Quire/Kid Omega (DoX look). I think he's possible now with his prominence in the current X-Force. Villain to be Avalanche and BAF Blob, unless we end a BOEM II box set (PLEASE Hasbro!) in which case I'd go with Exodus (90's or DoX most likely) and BAF...Emplate? Mojo? Rockslide? Armor? DoX Apocalypse? Then save DoX Storm and DoX Callisto for the next unthemed/grabbag of eras for some storyline symmetry. Last edited by Captain Nash; 04-12-2021 at 05:53 PM.. |

I can understand why fans would be upset that the entire Fantastic Four are rumored to be four of the six slots of the Retro wave, but I'm actually thrilled. As someone unable to buy, let alone find, three of the Walgreens Fantastic Four figures and whose favorite F.F. suits are of the Negative Zone suits, they're getting all of my money on those figures. That said, I could easily see them doing a continuation like the Retro Spider-Man wave and have Retro Fantastic Four figures as Fan Channel releases or exclusives to Pulse or Target, like Johnny Storm, an invisible Invisible Woman, Terrax, Annihilus, Puppet Master, Sub-Mariner, Trapster, Wizard and so on. And since we had the Retro Doctor Doom, I'm sure more Retro F.F. figures are a strong possibility.
For late 2021 or 2022 figures for the X-Men, all I want are Jim Lee era versions of Blue Team and Gold Team X-Men members like Cyclops with an optic blast and without the bomber jacket, Jubilee with fireworks blasts, Psylocke, Sabretooth, and sold-separately figures for Colossus and Jean Grey. Classic Blob, classic Toad, classic Avalanche, Destiny, a sold-separately classic White Queen, classic brown-and-tan Wolverine with the X belt buckle, Exodus, M, Chamber, Husk, Xorn, X-23 and some kind of new figures for Angel, Banshee, Kitty Pryde and Magneto are a must as well. And we need an Iceman figure that is actually good. |
