Fucking-A, this place feels like home already. I was worried it was just us GI Joe guys.
On topic but off subject, I seem to remember a 90's Domino and Cannonball being shown at some point- was there ever any info released other than the digital mock-ups? When/where/how they're coming? |

If it is Toad, they done Hasbro’d it up giving us some unwanted version again cuz people are pointing out that that is the Sunfire body foot, which is a pretty inappropriate body type for the character.
e2a: Apologies to the throngs of fans clamoring for skinny emo Toad which I assume is actually a thing that exists and people are into. Last edited by Thor Laserpunch; 06-28-2021 at 12:02 AM.. |

It could totally be Wizard but I don't remember High Evolutionary ever being that purple, he's primarily magenta/pink and occasionally red-ish.

I would say both are shown more often as skewing towards magenta, although I believe I have seen both done in more purpley purple also. But a slender body choice probably does discount High Evolutionary as I would imagine he has more heft to the limbs.

While both characters are typically magenta some of his Frightful Four appearances had Wizard wearing purple, although I don't remember if this extended to his boots. Also good point on the bulk of the body, I feel like Herbert might be better served working with something like Sinister's body as his base so he'd be bigger than a normal person but smaller than someone like Colossus (plus Sinister's body already has the sculpted lines).

I'd be very happy if it is Wizard. Funny too considering what I said about a couple of weeks ago. About watching either Thundra or Medusa go up on the aftermarket if the Frightful Four happen. We're now getting a more easily obtainable Sandman this Fall. So if Wizard gets made that just leaves us with Trapster/Paste-pot Pete/Gooey Louie/Sticky Nicky/ Elmer Sklue and tada! We're done.

I thumbed my nose at it when it was first announced, but this Iron Man Wave is good. Like...really good. After the disappointments I had in the previous two waves, a wave that featured no less than three Iron Man figures (four if you count Iron Heart) has no business being as good as it is. The paints and colors pop so much, and Ursa Major is a blast to play with despite his articulation shortcomings. Even Darkstar excels as a figure because the paints came out so clean, and the headsculpt is fantastic...plus we get extra hands, which is something seldom seen with the ladies Legends.
Great thing about Ursa Major as well...he's literally a bear...meaning that if you need some Kuma representation on your fighting game shelf, Legends has your back (at least until Storm Collectibles comes around.) |

^ That BAF Bear is so awesome... I would totally get him if he were a deluxe figure.
And those 2nd batch of AoA figs look so good to me even though I have no actual fondness for AoA stuff. Still it is tempting since I can find all of the first AoA wave except Beast at Gamestop right now... then you just have to wait until Gamestop has one of their 30% off action figures sales. Then you just hope there is a AoA wave 3 somewhere down the line. |

I think there's enough missing prominent characters and interest that well see a wave, maybe in early 2023? That way we get about a year and half between each wave, so ~2 non AOA waves.
Honestly though what I'd like to see is: Two packs next year for Abyss and Nemisis (Deluxe two pack), and Storm/Quicksilver. That leaves the final wave open for Sinister, Nightcrawler, Mystique, Bishop, Gambit, Havok, Dazzler and BAF Rasputin. I really hope we do get all four AOA Horsemen. Getting 1 is one thing and we haven't even got that. Getting 2 would be more annoying than just 1 and getting 3 of the 4 would just be outright frustrating. |

That AOA Creed buck screams classic Bulldozer, the paint scheme is a perfect match, just paint the arms, add wrist cuffs, new head sculpt, belt & boots painted in silver. Hopefully, a long over due redo of the classic Wrecking crew is coming in the near future.

That does look like an easy retool. Good size and the sculpt could be mostly reused for three of the four...

To my eyes the neck in the out-of-package shot looks just as weird. It's probably just the angle, though.

Marvel Legends are a slippery slope. It's one of the lines I've pretty much stayed away from. But when I saw this new AOA line it tickled a nostalgic region in my 90's heart. Plus I just love the designs in general. So I went back and bought the first wave a couple weeks ago and now preordered these. And now I'm just looking at Marvel Legends in general for characters I like.
I've played myself. |

Yeah, that looks pretty bad too. Not quite as bad of an angle, but still distracting. Hopefully in person it'll be better, if not, well, I'm getting the figure with the set so I may as well just get over it.
