No sweat, man. My pleasure; we'll do a trade or whatever. The extra Galactus is a surprise belated wedding gift for a close college buddy whose nuptials I wasn't able to attend. He won't miss the Nova. Plus there's a good chance I'll likely be ordering more. Based on the eBay prices I'm seeing for the Sentinel, I wish I'd ordered more than 5. My plan was to auction off 2-3 sans the minis - cuz I luvs me some armies!

And so it begins…
https://youtu.be/0wfQY5PUjQY https://marvelousnews.com/252-29201 I can’t seem to post pictures properly, but we’ve got an official reveal of Excalibur Captain Britain. I’m guessing we’ll see the rest of the team either tomorrow or spread out across a few days like the Wolverine set. Edit: Jay C over at Marvelous News seems to think that it’s most likely just a store exclusive two-pack of Captain Britain & Meggan. Which would be disappointing, but not overly suprising. It would make the inclusion of Lockheed odd. Last edited by Ultra Seven; 08-25-2021 at 08:58 AM.. |

ALAN DAVIS FANS REJOICE!
Lol looks awesome and I'm very happy that I will eventually own the Capn' Britain I've always wanted redone by Hasbro Legends. Even tho' the over the top reveals by these goofy (IMO) influencers usually grinds my gears a bit. I liked this dude's manic-ness! It was appropriate. 'Oye, mate! |

Edit: https://marvelousnews.com/252-29199. Jay C (who’s info tends to be spot on) is saying that US Agent is coming next year as part of an all-comics Avengers wave. For fun, who else would people pick for that wave? I’d go Safari Jacket Wonderman, Classic Mockingbird, Stingray, Mantis, Moondragon, Count Nefaria, Erik Josten Goliath BAF. Glad to see Galactus is funded. Also while Excalibur is not my thing, congrats to those who've been wanting that team for a while.

Sooo, a few bits to unpack.
Hooray for Galactus and (very likely) Frankie. Thinking of getting a second one as a small investment. Captain Britain classic. Great glad I sold the two previous weeks ago. Waiting for the girls now. Which YouTube will reveal Megs, Rachel and Kitty? I guess N’crawler is just a re-issue with a head with a bandana and an earring. If the rumours about a classic Avengers wave next year, I’d hope for: Swordsman Mantis Wonder man safari. Moondragon (thou I can see her in a two-pack with Phylla) I’d love to see The Two-gun Kid. Stingray would be cool, but he could easily go in a Spider-man wave. Original Ms Marvel. More recent recruits like Lionheart, Silverclaw or Triathlon. Yellowjacket update. BAF should be a villain like Tyrok, Super-adaptoid or Tess-One. I’d die to see Korvac and Carina, to complete the Korvac saga. All the other normal size villains like Graviton, Nefaria, etc can go on a villain wave . And, I know no-one cares, but I’d love a Dr Druid. Maybe with a Buscema Nebula. |

I'm very happy Galactus made it but it's bittersweet. Some things befall me all at once and basically any money saved towards Galactus is gone. But I'm hoping the preorder on BigBadToyStore opens up and the price isn't too much over. That way I can just bite the bullet on the 50 something deposit and raise the rest by next year when it releases.

You underestimate how excited I would be to get Doctor Druid. Characters like him are why I love the line so much. Nebula would definitely be welcome, although I think a more directly “Infinity Gauntlet” version might make sense as a companion-piece to this year’s Thanos. Love your whole list, those particular picks stood out to me! Edit: shoot, Swordsman is also a really great call. There’s just tons of Avengers stuff I’d love to see. Double edit: had to look up Tyrak, that’s a solid deep cut. More Atlanteans would be awesome. Orka would make a good BAF as well. Last edited by Ultra Seven; 08-25-2021 at 01:41 PM.. |

If we're getting an Avengers wave that's all comic, then I'd be cool with any of the following:
- Blue Marvel - Ghost Rider (Robbie Reyes) - Echo - Wiccan - Hulkling - Patriot - Justice - Sersi - Graviton - Immortus - Baron Strucker - Amadeus Cho - Ms. America Chavez |

Wiccan and Hulkling should be in a two-pack called "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure."

I'm thrilled we're getting an Avengers comic wave and that U.S. Agent will be in it! I hope it's the classic U.S. Agent costume and shield, maybe with alternate civilian heads of John Walker and Steve Rogers for good measure and Mjolnir as a bonus from when Steve lifted it as the Captain. There are a lot of Avengers figures I'd love to see made, but I'd especially love figures for classic Scarlet Witch without the metallic paint, classic Hawkeye with a shrunken Ant-Man on an arrow accessory, red-and-black costume Wasp, classic Falcon, Count Nefaria, "Heroes Return" armor Iron Man, classic Captain Marvel II, classic Ms. Marvel, the Wrecking Crew, and classic Baron Zemo. Since Marvel loves making suit-and-tie figures lately, we could even toss in characters like Egghead. And yes, a scaly-chainmail classic Captain America is a must, preferably with a smiling alternate head based on John Byrne's art, as I'm tired of the angry/constipated looking head sculpts we've gotten for the past three or so Cap figures. Since Ant-Man, Hulk, Spider-Man and Thor have 60th anniversaries next year, I hope they get more comic book based figures in 2022. I'd also love to see Tyrannus, Ringmaster, orange-and-black costume Leader, classic Absorbing Man, the Warriors Three, classic Beta Ray Bill, a new classic Thor in his classic suit colors, and a new Loki in his green-and-yellow suit with a cape, scaly chainmail, and alternate angry and smiling-mischievously head sculpts.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed we'll see some kind of Spider-Man figures tomorrow and that we'll see more Retro Spider-Man figures next year. Since Dan Yun's had Toy Biz figures displayed for Doctor Octopus, Shocker and Hobgoblin on his shelf, I hope those get new Retro figures sooner than later. |

I think we’ll see more Spider-Man tomorrow, but it’s likely that they’ll be the rest of the movie wave, versus more retro figures. It’s weird how few comics Spider-Man characters we’re getting next year. Hopefully they’re ramping up to give us a lot for his sixtieth next year (preferably with a silver-bronze age slant). Another retro Spider-Man wave next year is among the rumors posted on the Fwoosh’s checklist, which has yet to steer us wrong. |

@Ultra Seven - I assume you meant you're surprised by the lack of Spider-Man comic figures this year. I do hope that the rumored second Retro Spider-Man wave for early next year turns out to be true and we get a few long-awaited new figures of fan favorite villains, heroes and even civilian figures. I just don't want too many movie 'Spider-Man' figures to take the place of long-awaited comic characters next year, even though I'm sure we'll see a few more figures of 'No Way Home' for the villains and other Spider-Men.
And yes, Balder would be a cool figure. I wonder if Hasbro would consider doing two-packs of a figure from a Disney+ series or Marvel Cinematic Universe movie with their comic book counterpart as a speedier way of making figures for both versions of a character, like a comic book based Agatha Harkness figure with her "WandaVision" counterpart or a comic based Wong with his M.C.U. counterpart, stuff like that. |

I think that mixed comic & MCU two-packs would only serve to aggravate fans of both. For me as a comics collector, I’d be super annoyed at the prospect of having to purchase MCU figures to get comics characters I wanted. And I’m sure that there are MCU figures that would feel exactly the same. |

Blader would be great, but that's a can of worms. Give me Balder - heroic, or portly/old/still kicking ass/chop Loki's head off - Balder? Give me Balder - give me Kurse. Give me Balder - give me the Warriors Three. Give me Balder - give me comic Heimdall. Give me Balder - Give me the Destroyer. Give me Balder - give me Mangog. Give me Balder - give me the Designate. Give me Balder - give me the Yggdrasill family tree.

I see no issue with this can of worms. For me, it’s gotta be Jack Kirby/ Walt Simonson Balder. Ideally, I’d like an all-comics Thor wave like the Iron Man wave we got. My perfect line-up would be:
- Eric Masterson - Balder The Brave - Heimdall - Designate - Lorelei - Karnilla The Norn Queen - Loki (preferably Walt Simonson based) - Destroyer BAF Plus Sif & the Warriors Three as Fan Channel figures. I would adore seeing Mangog, maybe as deluxe release like Surtur. I was excited to hear Dwight mention Mangog as someone who’s on their radar. By the way, writing this out, I am realizing the biggest reason we haven’t seen more Asgardians: so much new tooling. |

1) I love that list. 2) You're right about tooling; something I hadn't really given much thought to previously. 3) KURSE |

I’d love to see how they’d engineer Kurse’s armor. Articulation would probably be a challenge.

I could definitely see classic Mockingbird reusing Lady Deathstrike's arms, maybe Comic Sersi, I'd like to see Justice, and I shall continue to hold on to hope for a Stature baf Lady Deathstrike does make me think that Mockingbird is coming eventually, since they love to reuse tooling where able (if they put it together right, the whole wave could actually be really light on new tooling). A lot of suggestions I’ve seen are for characters who wouldn’t need much new tooling. Which could help conserve budget for a really cool, unique BAF. I don’t even really like the Young Avengers, but I’d still be down for Stature. |
