Look what I found on clearance at Target for $20:
I now have myself another goon to have my heroes fight. Oh, and a Gold Man, which is pretty much dogshit.

Having a bunch of Wolverines or Spideys or Iron Mans makes sense... or having a bunch of your favorite characters makes sense. IMO the probably comes when you start to get multiple versions of secondary characters. Like I wonder to myself why I have so many Storms when I don't even like Storm. Clearance items, finishing off BAFs, finishing off teams, two packs, 3 packs, box sets, Nostalgia, FOMO, wanting to collect figs from the most recent movie you saw... collecting Legends turns into a black hole if your are not careful.

Ironman is the only character I will get in almost all his classic comic based armors. Wolverine & Spiderman rate 2 purchases as I have classic Retro Spidey & will be getting his all Black look as well. Wolvy rates classic Yellow/Blue & Brown costume look. Everyone else I try & get their most iconic costume & that's it. Classic Hawkeye is another that might rate 2 figs cuz I do like both his sleeveless & sleeved looks.

After getting the new Torch from Dorkside, I've become convinced Hasbro is going to deliver both translucent flame and invisible versions of the Super Skrull BAF.
Also...I missed out on Series 1 Cap. Oops, looks like I'll be paying for the mark-up on that one. |

@TheBlueMarvel - Actually, Series 1 20th Anniversary Captain America (if I'm correctly assuming that's the Series 1 Cap you're talking about) is still up. It's up for pre-order on Entertainment Earth for a May 2022 release: https://www.entertainmentearth.com/p...figure/hsf3439
Also, over on The Fwoosh, in the 2022 Spider-Man line and 60th Spidey thread, one of the users said that Unparalleled Universe had a live interview with Dan Yun last night that apparently was deleted today where Mr. Yun said this in regards to the unconfirmed 60th anniversary Spider-Man wave next year: On the subject, he said there was a reason they hadn't reissued the retro spider-man figure and they hear the fans asking about wall crawling hands. He urged people to be patient and not pay scalper prices for it. It sounds to me like we could be getting some kind of classic Spider-Man figure next year or so. If it's true, I'd be thrilled with that news. The Retro Spider-Man figure from 2020 was way too hard to find and it'd be nice to see new and old collectors get their chance to get a new classic Spider-Man figure. I hope you all are having a great night and I hope you all have a Happy Halloween. Stay safe, True Believers. |

Thanks, Stuart. I haven't ordered from Entertainment Earth since the Guardians of the Galaxy pack, but I'll check it out.

@TheBlueMarvel - No problem. I've also got the links for it on Dorkside and Big Bad Toy Store, if you'd rather pre-order it from one of those sites instead:
Captain America figure Dorkside link: https://dorksidetoys.com/products/ma...22aa7c6f&_ss=r Cap figure B.B.T.S. link: https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Produ...Details/181855 I can't wait to see what the Hulk and Toad figures for the 20th anniversary wave look like. I hope we'll see photos for them before 2021 ends. |

One of my local Walmarts got in 4 cases of the Eternals wave, a case of Ajak, and absolutely nothing else. Similarly all of my local Targets seem to only be stocking the Eternals wave and their exclusives. I'm definitely concerned that of the multiple waves people have been finding (AoA2, retro FF, No Way Home) my stores have just decided to gorge themselves on the one I don't care about.

^ I think all my Targets are going all in on Eternals and skipping the other waves for now too... very strange. That Eternals stuff has been sitting in warehouses forever though... Hasbro is probably so glad to get rid of it finally. To make things even more congested... the retro F4 wave is supposed to be hitting now-ish too. So that's 4 waves (Spidey NWH, What if, AoA2, retro F4) that are being displaced by Eternals stuff that probably won't sell well.

Marvel Legends from Dorkside arrived today. Shadowcat came out great. When online reviewers were first getting the wave I was worried that it looked like Hasbro made her hair too light but in hand I really like the color (in the comics AoA Kitty just has much lighter hair than her primary counterpart). The vaguely metallic blue used for her suit is also quite nice, although on my figure there's a little paint bleed going into her cleavage. She includes retracted and extended versions of her claw gauntlets, both are well done and as an aside I've always really liked how this design element implies that she and Logan still had some kind of friendship in the AoA before he and Jean left the X-men. 2 figures left to finish Colossus. Sandman is satisfying if imperfect. The Luke Cage body is a nice choice for depicting Sandman as imposing but not using his power to mass up. I'm not the first to comment that the green plastic beneath the skin paint on the forearms is still pretty visible and just makes them look strange, thankfully the sand effects can cover things up. I like the alternate effect hands but the alternate head's stern expression remains a disappointment. They really should have paid homage to Ditko's art and given the punch-through head a nasty smirk. My biggest gripe with the figure (this could just be on mine) is that his bicep joints feel rather gummy and it's making me paranoid that they might eventually tear. I never completed the BAF for a few reasons so getting this new Sandman is ultimately a win in my book. Now please please please give us a non-exclusive deluxe Rhino Hasbro.

That's good news --- BUT there's been a lot of posts that I've seen that required a signature for delivery. Mine own Sentinel did. If you have the tracking number, maybe to be sure you can instruct Fedex to not require a signature (or set it up with someone else to sign for it) |

If they would actually give the new Spiderman a slightly changed deco, then I'd like to see a darker blue used like on the Marvel Legends 12" Spiderman from 2016. |

They are all being shipped signature required, though. Will the mail room sign for it? I guess you could always get lucky and have a FedEx driver that just disregards the requirement like mine did. I had the privilege of knowing the package was out for delivery, pulling up the security camera feed for work, and immediately being greeted by the sight of the driver abandoning my package outside a store that wouldn’t open for two more hours, signature be damned. Anyway, probably a moot point because it seems to usually take about a week for them to actually ship from the time they email the tracking info, so it probably won’t show up until you get back anyway.
In other news, I got tracking emails for my remaining sentinel shipments today too! |

And I hope it doesn't arrive until next week, but read what I said above with the package room.

Anyone else have only one Sentinel arrive for their multi order? I'm wondering if I should wait a few days or contact Hasbro asap to complain that only one arrived despite my order saying fulfilled.

I would especiallynif you only got one. That sounds shady.
