I think this is probably the way they would do it. It could be done similar to the "build-a-wing" figures. I think they could split the torso and head in half (front and back) so that Armor could be put inside.

My Excalibur set was shipped today.
I also got a new Exteme Set building to take pictures of my stuff with: Putting the rooftops together was way more complicated than it needed to be. It was even worse than the warehouse one due to how much thinner they were. I ended up having to use tape all around the thing to at least keep it from splitting apart. That aside, I love the stairwell on the side as I'll be able to do some cool battle scenes with that. I really need to find some sort of hard base to set both buildings on though. Mattel not doing Granny is the biggest disappointment ever from them, even moreso than their lack of really doing the Flash Rogues.

More Flash rogues was one of my other greatest hopes from the line. I think nearly as frustrating as how few we got was that one of the only ones we DID get (Captain Boomerang) was in a lame-assed modern costume. After classic Boomerang, my biggest want would have been Golden Glider. To bring this back to Marvel Legends, I really appreciate how basically every hero/ team we have has at least some extent of a rogue?s gallery portrayed. Who do you think is the most lacking in this regard? Personally, I would say the Hulk. Last edited by Ultra Seven; 12-08-2021 at 06:42 AM.. |

Count me in for getting Armor somehow. That would be awesome, even if it might be hard to do.
I got shipping confirmation from Pulse for Spider-Man 2099 and AoA Sabertooth. I'll be happy to complete Colossus. It's been so weird getting the new AoA wave in bits and pieces, but whatever. I'll just be happy to have them in hand! |

Easiest- if you're up for a little painting is grabbing an 8x4 piece of pink insulation foal (foamular) cutting it to your city size, roll a ball of foil (or whatever texture you like) all over it, paint it black, then drybrush grey... instant asphalt. (or grab a bunch of the 2x2 pieces and lay them out and do the same thing...) Or you could try gaming mats that have pre-printed details on them (made for 18mm usually but generic 'hanger' or 'space craters' will work at any scale) Those mats can get pretty big and are made of neoprene. They do tend to get $$$ the bigger you go...

For D class heroes, Morbius. They haven't done a single one of his villains. For more like B level heroes, Doctor Strange as Dormammu has been his only adversary to get a figure. Quote:

I'll look into those gaming mats after my Jan 20th paycheck though.

Of your Flash sub-line idea, that would have been great. I?ve often thought of how different DCUC would have looked with ?themed waves? like ML. I think the advantage to themed waves is that for characters lucky enough to have a wave (Spidey, X-Men) you get deep into their friends & foes), while the downside is that you?re less likely to get secondary heroes (Luke Cage stands out for me), and even less likely to see any of their villains (aforementioned Morbius or Doctor Strange). In other news, my Excalibur set finally shipped! To borrow a phrase, “hip hip!” |

Sure, but damn do I want some U-Foes. I think the challenge is that so much of his rogue?s gallery is BAF sized. Good point about Strange. Feels like Nightmare or Mordo are long overdue at this point. Who would you want to see for a Morbius villain? I can?t say I?ve really read any Morbius comics, so I don?t know his foes well (or at all, as it were).
However, the comics from the 70s also had a demonic cult called Demon Fire that they could pull from on top of an eye creature deemed Helleyes.

Never seen him before, but it’s a cool design that I’d welcome a figure of.

The label for mine created yesterday, and I figured, oh good now I have an actual number I can watch go nowhere! But it actually did ship this morning and it is supposed to be delivered by tomorrow. We'll see, but that was certainly unexpected.

Excalibur just showed up, and I absolutely love it. I know people love to nitpick Shadowcat's hair- I ain't that guy. Bring on Rachel.
In other news, X-Force appears to be shipping early, December 16th is the new estimate. It would appear as though the estimates have been way far out as a buffer against backlash due to the shipping clusterfuck. Can't wait!! Upon edit, it is rather shitty to be made aware of a surprise early charge literally the same day that I drop nearly $500 for two Sky Strikers that I won't see for a year and a half- you're welcome for all of the support, Hasbro! Oh well. Last edited by Sataninjaku; 12-08-2021 at 04:18 PM.. |

Hasbro also let me know I have 3 preorders hitting early on the same day, December 16. It'll be a good Xmas for Transformers and Marvel Legends at least lol.

Just got my Excalibur 3 pack today. Way better on hand though I worry Meggan is going to have the same issue as Medusa. Is the Captain Britain on a new buck? It's not Hyperion or Omega Red, but I can't put my finger on it.

Another thought on armor... looking at Fortnite Ripply, they could just do a large clear figure where only her head and torso are actually visible inside and the arms and legs are darker translucent plastic hiding the fact they're isn't normal size kind limbs inside. If it's done in a way that the color fades where you can see her body out could work... The helmet could come off like on Rippley so you could move the head around...

Has anyone else seen/used this website before?

Why is it always Hood and Arcade? They need to put the AIM Scientist on sale already!

Which is weird for Arcade given how great an X-Men villain he is.
However, I seen more AIM Scientists collecting dust at Gamestop than any other villain from the wave. In fact, no GS has Arcade, Deathstrike, Dormammu, or Red Skull.
