They joked but I'd be all for a full Cates wave after the Knull pack releases.

I do not collect much in the way of Legends any longer but I am most definitely down for a Blue Marvel in any of his costumes.

Speaking of Venom...since we are rumored to receive another Venom themed wave this year at some point (or at least more symbiote characters)...here's to hoping we get these announced tomorrow, so that I can drown in the angry tears of symbiote haters everywhere! |

I was finally in a mood to take some toy pictures today and decided to go with my Spider-Man backlog first.

The Shocker pic is the definitive winner. Every time I see someone talk about the lack of black lines vs. actual texture, I wonder if they wouldn't like the arms and legs of all of their figures outlined as well.

Great Spidey pics! Also nice use of the Spider Armor web effects.

^ Those pics ooze so much 90's awesomeness I almost can't handle it.

I forget where it happened but I saw people having a full-on debate over whether Shocker's lines are actually supposed to be colored in-universe or if they're just a consequence of the artists trying to convey his suit's texture. I suppose this debate could be extended to Mysterio too.

Believe it or not, Blade Trinity is legitimately better than Venom 2. After being mortified by how awful Venom 2 was, I actually watched BT again...and found myself surprised by how much more of a cohesive and entertaining film it was...

Seeing all these 90's characters and recently seeing them again in a recent Spidey comic, I'd really love to get a Marvel Legends set of The Slingers. The initial concept was so peak Spidey 90's bonkers. But I did actually enjoy them when they became individual characters in a group.

Classic Rhino!!!
No interest in anything else shown off so far, though that new headsculpt on Storm might make it worth it alone.

Madame Hydra is a must buy.
Quake and Maria look like the same character... Not familiar with the Controller. Looks like Darkseid.

Well I guess Rhino will be the only thing I preorder for sure since Madame Hydra will most likely end up dropping in price on Amazon.

I want FF Spidey, 4/6 of the Avengers wave (no interest in Madam Hydra or Speedball), and Rhino.
Solid showing I think. |

This is my favorite shot. Looks like puma is about to feel the power of the spider nut crunch kick.

Sometimes the universe is kind and just. Don't really care about U.S. Agent, Madame Hydra or that Iron Man but that was the exact Thor I was hoping for. And I'm glad to add Infinity Ultron to the collection as well.

That's accurate to their comics appearance. They always had similar designs. The cool thing with getting Quake is now people can do army building with a female S.H.I.E.L.D. body. I saw some people asking for that a few pages back once they got the male army builder in hand.

Decided to take a closer look at the closing teaser. The flask accessory is far too open-ended, so I'm skipping over that for now. Looking past it, the background art of the box appears to represent possible ancient columns and there's a statue of a chariot with four horses near the top of the box. Anyone got any ideas?

Kinda underwhelmed by these reveals. US Agent is a must buy but John Walker is built like a tank at 6'4 275lbs, why in the hell didn't they utilize the retro Herc Buck for him. it would just have required Boots/Gloves, alternate fists, belt & Head sculpt! Is that the Grim Reaper buck that they used for him? Controller is a must, everyone else in that wave is a huge pass for me. Retro Rhino is also a must have as the head sculpts are superior to what they previously gave us.
