Dorkside first listed the 2 pack for $59.99 and then adjusted to $62.99. Same thing happened with Quicksilver when it was first listed for $24.99 and then adjusted to $26.49. A few bucks cheaper and no tax adds up for each order and helps. On the other hand when figures go on clearance that's even more savings but it's a gamble sometimes and not every deal can be had.

Going to pass on these for now. No room on the shelf. If they are discounted later this year, I will reconsider.

Crazy how on one hand the Iron Man has the best RDJ headsculpt Hasbro has ever done, while Odin looks absolutely nothing like Anthony Hopkins.

We're probably going to be stuck with them drip-feeding these Infinity Saga reveals for the next several events. I won't complain too much myself because I am interested in seeing the rest of this assortment (the alleged Iron Monger in particular) but at the same time it'd be nice for them to just rip the band-aid off and be done with it.

I feel the same way about Excalibur... like I just want them to hurry up and announce it, and if it is an Amazon box set then I can just ask my brother to pre-order it for me like he did the Magneto set and I can just be done with it. I think I am ready to be done with Legends... it's been 5 years since the Juggernaut wave... my 90's X-men blue and gold teams are done... 90's X-factor and X-force are close enough done... just need Excalibur and Banshee... I can live without Feral, Wolfsbane, Rictor, Siryn and Longshot if I have to. The only non mutant Legends I still really needs is classic Dr. Strange... that's it for me I think.

We went last year with basically no MCU figures outside the Black Widow wave, so I'm fine with that balance shifting, tbh. There'll be more comic figures shown eventually.

True that. Hasbro just needs to push out what ever Phase 1-3 movie figs that MCU collectors are clamoring for & be done with it. I'm just stoked that we're getting classic comic versions of Quasar in his best costume, 80s Herc, classic Perez Ultron, Mod IM, Guardsmen, Ursa Major & 80s FF in their most popular looks, I really hope they give us a more in scale Thing, but won't hold my breath on it. Classic comic Thanos & Ultron have finally been scratched off my top 3 Avengers villains list with only Count Nefaria to go. A long overdue redo of in scale classic Wrecking crew is also on my holy grail list.

I have no issue with there being a balance, but as of right now, there has been nothing in the realms of classic X-Men revealed at all this year. It's been all new stuff and then alternate realities. Of course, we've also had a lack of new Spider-Man comic stuff too. What ever happened to the classic Shocker and Lizard that were rumored? Or a new Hobgoblin? Then there's still the likes of The Enforcers, Belladonna, Tarantula, Silvermane, and so on. Plus, there needs to be some Sleepwalker love. If Frogman, White Rabbit, Darkhawk, and Death's Head II can get figures, Sleepwalker should be a no brainer.

But that's because of Covid, which isn't my fault.

I'm guessing we'll get 1 movie spider-man wave and 1 comic spider-man wave along with some more Retro figures. Plus a possible Venom wave to go with the new Venom movie. Which I'd guess would have Absolute Carnage's giant form as a BAF or the "New" Venom symbiote outfit with all the runes on it. Probably will include Shriek (movie? comic? toss up), Eddie Brock w/ Venom tendrils and a movie Carnage. Plus at least 1 more X-wave (Banshee? Angel? Gabby? some of the newer mutants in general?), Deadpool wave (Zenpool?), a generic 'comic' wave, and a Retro wave or two. And a few random things like more characters from the Fox X-men movies. Could use DP2 Colossus and Yukio, Laura, Psylocke, Nightcrawler, Storm, Silver Samurai, and even 'Deadpool' from Origins. |

It will seriously be a wasted opportunity if the remaining Life Foundation Members are not a part of the rumored Venom 2 movie wave.

Any thoughts on what to do with these BAF pieces?

I've always just listed what I have for sale, but if you're looking for a specific BAF parts one, try this- http://www.toyark.com/baf-marvel-leg...xchange-66952/ Some of those parts get a pretty penny to be honest. Blob, Fin Fang Foom, and Giant Man to name a few. Also, if you're looking to sell off the Abomination head, I'd be interested. |

Thanks. It really was at the top of that page too! Lol. I will post it there. I need a couple BAF parts myself so I can see about trades. You can just have the head.
Thanks again! |
