The HASLAB for the Joe's line is a vehicle. A HissTank, to be specific. I wonder if they'll go that route with Legends. I know many X-men fans will want a Blackbird. While I'd likely buy that, I think I'd prefer a Quinjet, or Fantasicar. Old timey versions of all, of course.

Congrats on the interview. I'm happy for you. Quote:
Blackbird all day for this guy, except...
....agreed. Although I did just say yesterday that I'd be backing the H.I.S.S. solely for the figures and flipping the tank due to space concerns, but upon seeing it this morning, I'm walking that back. There's no way I'll be able to bring myself to sell it, it's gorgeous. Guess I'll be playing some Tetris with my collection. I don't exactly have a lot of willpower when it comes to this shit. Where I'd put it is an entirely different story... |

I wonder if Robbie Ghost Rider with his Charger would ever be done as a Haslab project, it definitely wouldn't be as pricey as the previous Marvel projects but it still feels like something retailers probably wouldn't carry. I don't think I'd even back it but still something I was thinking about.

I bet any Ghost Rider Charger would appeal to a lot of car collectors too... especially if it had an alternate set of parts that made it appear not flamed up and also if any 6" scale figure could fit inside. I think the Fast and the Furious movies made a lot of people like the Dodge Charger.

Lot of Hasbro product shipping. If anyone needs a SHIELD or Hydra Tank check out the GI Joe Classified Hisstank on Hasbropulse.com. Fully funded in 8 hours. Tier 1 achieved as of this morning. The rest of the tiers will probably be achieved by next week.

Maggot and Darwin arrived today:
It's nice to finally have Bonebreaker's tank leg thing put together. Now if I could just find his freaking body. Both of these dudes are... okay. Darwin looks like Mr Burns to me from the episode of The Simpsons that featured the X-Files cast when he appeared as an alien. Outside of like a few pages he appeared in Reign of X, my only experience with him is from First Class, which had him look like a normal dude. I'm not a fan of this body at all. It looks like the pizza Spider-Man body, but the ab crunch does not work at all, making me wonder why he even has one to begin with. The colors are nice though. As for Maggot, I know nothing about him. Not even a page. However, I must say that the figure is way better than I anticipated. My only issue is his legs are loose as hell. OH, and for some reason mine appears to be in a trance as his eyes are rolled upward as if he is staring off into space. I'm not sure exactly how the maggots are supposed to be placed on his body though because the image shows one on his shoulder, but it doesn't attach to anything. It just falls off the moment something shakes. Still, I think I might keep him afterall and put him on my 90s X-Men shelf.

I'm curious, has anyone here ever actually met Jim Lee?
He was "attending" Fan Expo Denver this past weekend. The reason I put attending in quotations is because he was never actually at his table. There would be two older gentlemen always at his table playing on their phones ignoring anyone that walked up to them unless they wanted to buy something. The only time they really spoke was to say, "Jim Lee is gone for the day," or , "The prices are in the corner." That's it. Furthermore, you had to pay $100 to attend his panels which were titled, "The Jim Lee Experience." Well for me, my Jim Lee experience is that he's a greedy asshat who doesn't actually give a damn about his fans.
