Looks like they'll arrive sometime in early 2015!

I really hope that Obi-Wan is the ANH version and not either Episode I or II. Commander Cody sounds pretty good. For Leia I would've preferred ANH come out first, but Boushh might interest me depending on how it turns out.

The Leia in Boushh Disguise announcement is interesting because of the rumor that started shortly after last year's SDCC that claimed Hasbro was going to make that very figure - and that it would include Han in carbonite.

I disregarded the rumor outright because I didn't think they would make that version of Leia. Now I have to wonder...

if it came with the carbonite han, they would seriously piss off a lot of collectors who paid the premium for the sdcc boba fett.
besides they havent icluded an accesory like that in any figure yet, and i imagine such a thing would raise the price, this are guys who charge 70 dolars for greedo and han with a piece of cardboard so i doubt they would be generous with the accesories.
my guess it comes with 2 heads, thermal detonator and blaster.

I would pay a fair amount of money to own an Obi-Wan on this scale that really resembles Sir Alex Guinness. But the finished, mass-produced figure must look like him, not just another blobby, poorly-painted generic bearded face.

Thank you for the heads-up. Rgds

I would imagine just one head like the upcoming Han Solo Stormtrooper, one head and one helmet that fits over it.

Who is this Alex you speak of? (I jest, Alec is a less common name anyway).
I wouldn't get your hopes up on any kind of likeness, that's not the way Hasbro plays this game. Han Solo doesn't look like Harrison Ford, Luke is only reminiscent of Mark Hamill, same for Leia with Carrie Fisher, and then the Star-Lord looks nothing like Chris Pratt (different line, but you see my point). Hasbro is still considering kids the main target audience, so likeness rights are minimal on their concerns.

I concede. Likenesses are often disappointing, even on premium figures, hence my focus mainly on helmeted and robot characters, but the bar has been raised lately with other licences, so I have high hopes for new lines. Let the market speak! Rgds

I don't think so, I mean the most marketable characters are all alien or helmeted/no-face. Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Stormtroopers all wear helmets. Yoda, Chewbacca, R2-D2, and C3-P0 are all alien/droid so no single person holds the likeness rights. All of those characters are just part of the franchise and don't need any actor to grant permission to use their face, that's where Lucas made money from toy marketing. Even then Hasbro can make toys for Han Solo, Luke, Leia, etc. because licensing rights were granted for the characters as part of the franchise.
I guess my point is that having licensing rights is more important to making toys aimed at kids than likeness rights for actually making them look more like the respective actors.

apparently they did get the likeness rights, its just shoddy craftmanship from hasbro.

Have they confirmed all the bounty hunters? I was going to avoid these figures but if they do all of them(Greedo is awesome as well) I might have to bite.

I absolutely HATE the Greedo toy, thanks to it and the Leia all of the stores where I can find any of these are completely cluttered. My local TRU has had at least ten each of Leia and Greedo since their wave released, the only one I want from the wave is Boba Fett but that appears to be the general feeling of customers. Greedo isn't even a very cool character, he shows up for a minute and then dies. Han shot first. Why can't they give us a two-pack with Boba Fett and a Stormtrooper, instead of a pack featuring the shelf-warmers?

I am afraid to buy Leia as Boushh for fear they will make a TRU 2-pack that is Boushh and Han in Carbonite.

If that happens, I'd probably end up buying both and treat one of them as the actual Boushh before Leia borrowed his identity.

LOL, he has more lines and film time than 75% of the characters they release. What's not to love about a little Green alien in an Orange vest who's trying to be a big time player in the bounty hunter world but bites off more than he can chew. I felt pretty bad for him when Solo just blasted him in a cold blooded way.

I felt like he had it coming, Han Solo is apparently a famous smuggler (especially for making the Kessel Run in record distance?) and Greedo is for all we know and all we're ever given just a thug who works for Jabba (because now if it isn't in the movies then it isn't canon, which still angers me). Either way Greedo is a chump who works for a slug who thought he was way tougher than he actually was, my huge gripe with the 6" toy is that Greedo got a figure before C3-P0, Ben Kenobi, or oh yeah DARTH VADER. To that point, even when they get around to Darth Vader they messed it up by giving it way too much soft-good fabric and a removable helmet to remind us of one of the original trilogy's dumbest decisions.

I would imagine he will in some form. Maybe not with the throne or that version will be an exclusive of some sort, while the stand-alone version will be at regular retail a la Fett.
