Thanks for clearing that up for me, Mr. Moore!

I KNOW that, but what I'm getting at is that a lot of the people who will see these at retail (kids and their parents) aren't going to know that and could easily get confused as to why all four have the same colored mask.

I haven't. Stopped by Toy "R" Us a couple days ago and didn't see anything.

I was thinking they are not out just yet, since I haven't seen them being sold by anyone online yet. I noticed on their FB page, Playmates mentioned they were shipping out Aug 26th, so maybe they will start popping up soon...

I hope so. I'd love to grab those comic Turtles. But the stores I've been hitting up have their TMNT sections pretty stocked out right now. Wouldn't be surprised if a few stores are sitting on a bit of the new stuff waiting for shelf space to open up a bit.

I like that they're using black & white artwork for the comic Turtles. I might keep these ones in-package. Though re-creating the cover of TMNT #1 would be kinda cool...

Good god...one of those auctions was seriously asking for 150 dollars! You could get a set of the NECA ones, either bootleg or legit for less than that! God I hate scalpers and their mind sets, which basically always boils down to "I found it first, so it's automatically worth double!" Lame.

I'll just keep hitting the stores. Unlike Hasbro, I can usually count on Playmates to get these out to the shelves without too much trouble thanks to their superior distribution.

Agreed ^. And with most of them, they end up peg warming long enough for everyone to grab what they need. Only one I have not seen in a long time is April...

of course, hit your local spots to check if they’ve restocked yet!
You mean the ones that have had the Slash/Rahzar wave for less than a month? :|

Just noticed the tails in the packaging pic there.. I wonder if there is something that they could have done with them so they don't look so.... well I'm sure you can SEE what I'm getting at.

Not related to the new figures but TRU is having a buy one get one 40% off sale on the TMNT line. I went back today wanting to buy the new 11" talking turtles but found out that one is a two pack so it just was not worth getting them.

Also the TRU I was at had the start wars on sale as well with the same deal.
