Currently airing on G4tv is the new animated X-Men series. I would imagine it will air on Fridays at 11. This is the premier.

But if it is as craptastic as the other 2 animae Marvel shows, then don't bother.

It's not bad. I had assumed it was going to be more of an anime style than it really is. I'm not really a fan of anime. But I think there is potential.

This was my assumption going into it as well. But after watching, I don't think it's that bad and will be watching again next week. Personally, I think it's the best of all the marvel anime shows on g4.

I only need to watch one more episode to finish it off. It's Madhouse studios so I support them fully. Though not a big fan of this series really. It's good but not my fave incarnation for animated X teams.

This is going to be a really good series! Sooooooo wish they'd create a Avengers anime.
So far, my only complaint is the limited characters they chose to use in the series. I'd like to see them add Iceman, Archangel, Gambit, and Rouge. |

I agree on limited characters. This is the first marvel anime that I've seen. Like I said, not a huge fan of anime, but this was interesting.

I'm on DirecTV. So I don't have G4. Never been an issue before this... but I guess I'll survive without.
Never been a fan of animes made from western comics/concepts.

Great and Best Marvel Anime. Good chance there will be a Season 2 if you watch the end credits of the last episode. This anime made me a big fan of Armor. What she does in episode 3 is Badass.

If anything, I love how well the women are designed in this series.

Not to nag but, I also wish they would have kept the same uniforms they used during the beginning of the show with the situation pertaining to Phoenix.
Cyclops & Beast mainly. |

Almost forgot to comment about the show. lol I liked it. I didn't understand who some of the bad guys were but it looks like it's following the Astonishing comic series where the White Queen will join the X-Men & fall in love with scott even though she had a hand in Jeans death. At least that's what it looks like to me. As far as Wolverine and Iron Man go. They each had their good parts. When Wolverine fights Omega Red and the crazy road/ gauntlet he travels up to fight the boss is cool. IM seems too much story not enough action.

Episode 2 wasn't bad. It just seems that the episodes are so short. I know a half hour program is really only about 20 min long, but it's seems like as soon as it starts it's over and nothing really happened.

Save for that awesome japanese obstical course show, everything on there I watched made me want to shoot myself. G4 programming is as bad for the braincells as TMZ.

This series seems like more potential than the wolverine and iron man ones. The first failure on wolverine was they made him tall and skinny followed by using a different voice. The music sucked too. The only part I liked was his battle with omega red. Reminding me to do an omega red custom. Iron man wasn't that bad but it could have been better.
At the end of the credits on the new x men, they tease us with glimpses of juggernaut, stryfe and magneto. The voices are spot on and the story and animation looks good. Its too early to tell but I have high hopes for this series. |
