Oh man, id love to have this set. I just found out about ThreeA stuff. They are amazing and there was someones large personal collection at the NYCC that was on display. Too bad they are too much damn money. PM me if you know of anywhere other than eBay where I can buy their figures.

I was just kidding man, your awesome in bringing news to the site and feeding my toy addiction. A thread title change might be a good idea.

Hahaha i cant make any promises!! Your best bet is to keep an eye on the 3A website, the preorder prices, especially on the WWRp stuff is the cheapest you'll find em. I got my Bertie off ebay,he was $98 inc. shipping,i got a really good deal on it i think. A definite plus with the 1:12th WWRp robots is that they display really well with Joes/MU/SW. If you want il take some comparison pics for you??

Ok Omega, the name change has went through. I was told if you guys keep up the posting, keeping interest up in the thread, it will be moved to the One Line Per forum. So if that's what you guys would like, keep the 3A thread relevant and I will keep posting news as I find it.

Sorry mate,i should have made that clearer!! He's a WiP custom im working on,he still needs a helmet,a belt device for the gasmask pipe to plug into, and a 3A logo for shirt (i have absolutely NO idea how im gonna do that!!) The head is a pit commando gasmask glued onto a destro head, then sculpted in green stuff with lenses cut from plastic lollypop sticks. The shirt was hand cut,and sewn, its not perfect, but given it was my second try it came out pretty good i think!!
The mysterious Du Plumes are my absolute favourite WWR characters, with Nom being my favourite of them, its such a simple but insanely good design, hence my attempt at customising up a 1:18th scale version..... Last edited by proteus; 10-25-2011 at 01:10 PM.. |

I used to have a marine bramble. I will say this, 3a has awesome box art and packaging for you MOC collectors. Like hot toys 3a toys keep their value and can double tripple with time. The items are limited runs. Sideshow, bbts, hlj etc sell them, They sell giant 18'' figure for 3-400 and small 6'' for less then 100 so if $$ is an issue start small, personally I'd love to a giant bertie bot... I even have some bertie bots tattoo'd on me :P

here's some pics, they're not the best as it's awkward to take the picture by myself and gf was asleep didn't want to wake her... but I got a few more on my deviantart acct look for blackmarkerstain.
top part of the sleeve..... essentially me in a giant bertie bot below I have 5 smaller bertie bots forming somewhat of an armband and they tapper off and get small to make a distance effect, instead of the tops being solid metal I modified the design to have an operator inside making the top part a glass dome with cockpit instead. close up detail somewhat or a group shot show you more I may take a few more pics at a later time. |
