I do want to see...uhhh Encounter of the 4th kind? Is that right? The one with Aliens. I love Aliens and horror so it may be a good watch.

For christmas I received Suckerpunch as a gift and bought the new Fright Night. For the most part I really enjoyed Fright Night as the remake. Was it an award winning movie no, did it have some corny jokes, Yes. But as a fan of the original and being a David Tennant and Colin Farrell fan I found that it was a fun enjoyable movie. It was a nice mix of a seductive vampire that is truly a monster and became very ugly various times throughout the movie. There was not brooding, or redeeming factors to Jerry the Vampire. It is my new fall asleep movie that I put on at times when my brain wont shut up long enough to let me sleep without a distraction.

As for games, over my (short) christmas break for school I decided to knock out some games from my need to play folder. My biggest mistake was to start playing Skyrim. While I was able to complete the story of one game, but not all the sidquest, Skyrim is way too addicting and took up much of my time. The worst part is that I don't even think a made it half way through Skyrim and have put in at least 20 hours. Dang sidequest...

I got the Rise & Fall of WCW and Ricky Steamboat dvds in a combo pack from Walmart for $10 but haven't watched either of them. However the wife has agreed to watch with me at least the Documentary parts as she likes those kinds of things and I count that as a big win. I'll just watch the matches on my own which works out cus I don't have to explain as much and I can enjoy the art

I'm also selective about my Blu-Ray purchases, especially if I've already started a particular set on a particular format. That's why I only got XMFC on DVD - all my other X-Men titles are on DVD. There are also some collections that I am converting from DVD to Blu-Ray, largely because I can get the combo pack and have both formats in one package. Harry Potter, PotC, and all Pixar films, for instance.
Of course, there are also a few very specific movies that I buy most versions that get released: Transformers and Star Wars. Well, except for the 3D version of SW, anyway. I'm skipping the whole "3D at home" format.

Haha, I'm the same way with so many of those traits! More little quirks to my videophile OCD are-
If I have a title on VHS (that I currently don't have on DVD), I replace with Bluray. If I have a title on DVD, (depending on price and the movie) I replace with Bluray. -Example: Found American Psycho for $5 at Target, already had the DVD (got it cheap too) but for that price (and the movie is awesome), I couldn't pass it up. Terminator is kind of the same way. I had the 1st and 2nd on VHS in a bundle, 3 on DVD and Salvation on Blu. So I found the BR for the first 2 (dirt cheap @ Target as well) so I just said "Screw it, transferring the whole damn series over!" (and why the hell not really, have you every seen any installment of Terminator in HD? No? Your missing out. Visuals are sick and the audio (part 3 epic vehicle chase inparticular) is just outstanding. Since most of the DVDs have been the upgrade from the VHS already, I'm not too keen on doing things more then once. Like those damn Disney movies. All the big box, white clamshell ones the wife has, we upgraded almost all of those with DVD. Any Disney Bluray she has right now, wasn't already in the collection. Eff that, I'm not doing that again. I could go on and on...and on....

ROFL, we could have been separated at birth!
Any new Disney/Pixar movies we buy are the DVD/Blu-Ray combo variety. But only the ones we don't already own on VHS or DVD, because I'm with you. I still have about a dozen clamshells that I need to convert whenever Disney decides to open the vault again.

Got Season 4 of The Big Bang Theory on DVD for $15 at Target last night. All seasons of the show are $15 a pop there, so it's a great time to pick them up if anyone's missing a season or wants to get into the show.
