To boldly go where no elbows have gone before.

Honestly I dug up the one...two original Playmate figures I had from the way back machine. To say these are massive step ups are putting it mildly. It's not in my collecting wheelhouse these days, but good on them for moving forward.

Fingers crossed they take another crack at the Boomerang Phasers from the DS9 and Voyager era. Those were my favorite phaser designs and I have been eagerly waiting for an updated version from the "First Contact" release from long ago (mainly in regards to the setting lights).

The Picard and Riker figures look good, but why does Data look so weird and gangly?

Yeah, the Enterprise looks good (possibly better than the sloppily-painted DST version from back in the day), and so does the phaser.

Waiting to see how the playsets and the ships look. Figures overall are ok, mixed bag really- some good face sculpts, some meh, some bad. But yeah am a bit interested and I'll be watching.

I said nothing to indicate that I was being historical.

Put down the crack pipe, lol. I have a couple TOS Enterprise ships from DST (those bastards!) that are not sloppy at all. Unfortunately, the Playmates one pictured here is even more inaccurate than their first one. They need to do away with the blue lights and hopefully the red and green nav lights will work, and will be correct, unlike DST's HD version. I wish DST would have gotten the promised Enterprise-C and Reliant out to us before losing the license. Oh well.
