We are never ever going to get our controversial Rita figure.

Not bad, but I wish they had stuck to the Jungle Fury style figure.
Oh well. And that megazord looks like crap compared to the original. T_T So much for a badass Mega DragonZord. |

On that note, I was expecting these to be 6", which would have been lame. Very happy that they're going to go with my MU figures. |

It reminds me of the Operation Overdrive oversized design. It also reminds me of the oversized knock offs. Parts look quickly retooled for articulation, alongside some changes. Can't comment on articulation, plastic grade, or even the gimmick knees or battle station mode. Are the cannons included? Or the sword?
The arms are like nigh interchangeable though which is intrigueing in the change. At least if they continue this progressive wave of retro. Arm interchangeability is something I look for in the candy kits. Universal joints prove versatile for combis of all kinds. I may change my tune come dragonzord, but that solely depends on the sheer aww of the sabre, tricera, mastodon, dragonzord guardian mode thing. But if they are going to put this much work into it, they could give use more articulation. But for now, original wins in my book. As for the figures, why not just scale down Jungle Fury articulation? This basic kind is rather lackluster. While it does help keep the original rare figs rare, it slights those fans too who got them. No rest of the team in that scale? Since we were slighted on the Jungle Fury final badguy forms as figures, will we get the nega rangers this time? Last edited by Snowflakian; 11-18-2009 at 01:48 AM.. |

I was totally looking forward to the re-tooled megazord but looking at those pictures I'm sad to say the original is 10 times better. The one in the picture looks like 1 big hunk of plastic. It doesn't look too articulated and perhaps the only redeeming feature is that it is bigger than the original.
I still have the original megazord and dragonzord in prefect conditiong. I guess i'll stick to them. |

Female figures are neat. Megazord still bugs me, though I do like the new peg system it employs. That seems to be the saving grace. If they remake key ones like this through out the series, this could prove fruitful for kids to combine all of them. The Lightning Zord griffon and Unicorn, SPD Blue Wing zord, with DragonZord Guardian mode possibilities have me intrigued.
Dino Jungle Fury, Dino SPD, Operation Overdrive, Turbo, RPM, the mix and match possibilities are endless... If they do it at least. Personally... Right now, I just want Dragon Caeser candy kits already. T_T With guardian mode to mix and match the kits. I'd do the minizord of this if it would seem worthwhile.
