Hey everyone it's Johnny, in Japan.
"December 17th, what a special day!! Final Fantasy XIII is out!!! WOO HOO....Wait...there is another game besides that?...." Of course there is! Today, Queen's Blade -Spiral Chaos- was released for the PSP system. I flew down to Akihabara today and grabbed me a copy of both Final Fantasy XIII and the Special Edition of Queen's Blade -Spiral Chaos- The special edition of Queen's Blade comes with: PSP game soft, Vocal collections CD, and fully articulated FIGMA figure of the new heroine, CUTE. (Yes, that is her name) And as a special present from Yodobashi Camera - Akiba, they gave me a small visual file with all the characters! (Hoo rah!) This time I took small pictures so I could upload them here on Toyark.com

OK MINI REVIEW!!!
I don't have a ton of time right now but I do want everyone to know how good (or bad) this figure is. START! (or skip to OVERALL) OK, I took a good amount of time to think about purchasing the Special Edition of Queen's Blade -Spiral Chaos-, and I finally came to a decision when I went to "Softmap" in Akiba. It's an electronics store. I headed up to the top floor where they had a few boxes of the SE of the game out. I looked at it for a while, starring at it, and then finally made the decision to head over to "Yodobashi Camera" to buy it for about 15 dollars (1,500 yen) cheaper. I bought, brought it home, and now you will hear what I have to say! The figure is really nice. You first notice that it's pretty big size for a video game extra. It was one of the factors in my purchase. It's details are very intricate and painted very well, expcially the designs on her clothing. The mold is actually quite acurate to the design and has little to no flares. What I really liked was the decent amount of accessories it came with. I have a few revoltechs and sometimes they see a little lacking. This figure is definately not lacking in that department. It comes with 3 interchangeable faces, 2 swords, a stand w/ arm, "burst mode" body, and 5 pairs of hands. The one thing that frigtens me is how fragile it feels. In order to change the body you need to switch the arms, head, and legs and place them on a stationary body. Something that should take a few minutes turns into 10-15 minutes. I am almost afraid to take it out of the box again. Overall this figure is really great but it is supposed to be Queen's Blade and the "Burst Mode" just does not do QB justice. The panties ARE removable but unlike the Revoltech sisters there are no details since of the FIGMA articulation. The extra body is NOT articulated and leaves much to be desired. I honestly wish that they would have done what they did with the Queen's Blade Revoltech where there were extra clothes for the "Burst Mode" and the articulation was a little more hidden. OVERALL out of 10 Artiulation: 8 Details: 7.5 Accessories: 7 Durablity: 5 Packaging: 9

I forgot to mention the price.
I picked up the set for 9,200 yen whichis about $100 dollars. EXPENSIVE....but well worth it.

Nice. I wonder if they will make more Queen's Blade Figmas in the future.
