To view images of the new Revoltech Assemble Borg Line Go Here:
http://www.toyark.com/news/revoltech...mble-borg-189/ The shafts of the Revolver Joints are all 3mm in diameter. It is possible to attach a head to the point where an arm or leg was, or even attach a head to a figure’s wrist. Not only the head, but any part is interchangeable with any other. It is even possible for the upper arm and lower arm to switch places. For example, if there were a Revolver Joint attached to a weapon, where would you attach it to? The elbow? Knee? Shoulder? The back? There is no wrong answer. With the Revolver Joint, the ideas for creating a figure are unlimited. The Revolver Joint is an all purpose articulation part which remains functional no matter how many times it is moved, capable of withstanding rough play, capable of being used as the joints for many figures and developed with the “clicking” sound for clarity of function. With diameters of 10mm, 8mm and 6mm, the revolver joint has the simple, yet distinctive appearance of a ball with sticks growing out of it, allowing for its use in elbows, knees and stomachs, or even the wings or small hatches of robots. A major distinction of this joint is that it can be fitted to any moving part. Not only does the central part of the joint move, but the shaft attachment can also rotate, allowing for a greater amount of freedom in applications. With the calculated angles of the shafts in a Revolver Joint, figures have presence even standing still. However, in motion, the true value of the joints become apparent. The base figure for the “Assemble Borg” is based on a sculpt by Katsuhisa Yamaguchi. The moment of impact from a martial artist’s moves can be depicted, putting ancient Greek statues to shame. And, no matter how many times it is moved, the Revolver Joints remain firm, continuing to move while making those little “click, click” sounds.

HLJ.com and more should be carrying this. Imports are quite easy to come by. Especially when you know where to look.
These are roughly 4-5 inches tall iirc, I'd consider getting the purple one if they were a little smaller more towards motion revive series size. |

However, while I am a huge Revoltech fan, and these figures look way cool (particulary the vehicles), I think I'll pass on these. Stupid lack of funds! For those interested, I did a Revoltech Ryu review a while back at the sister site, Revoltech Street Fighter Ryu - ActionFigureNews.ca - Canadian Action Figure News and Discussion Check it out if you want. |

Has this line even been released yet? I've been eagerly anticipating it, looks very creative and fun to mess with. Customization possibilities skyrocketed once these things were unveiled!
