Hey Arkers, I thought it was about time I started my customs from the Tank here, especially since I do so many non-Joe customs - I just use a lot of Joe parts.
Anyway, here's one of my latest: Riddick I love the character of Riddick and I thought about updating my old version of Richard B. Riddick - HissTank.com - G.I. Joe but hadn't been entirely inspired to do so until I saw pics of the 3 pack Roadblock. I couldn't help but be inspired and this is what I came up with. Obviously I wanted to give the figure a little added articulation while also taking his height down a notch - the Rock bed Roadblock is so damn tall - so I used the lower legs of Arctic Destro. I liked the design and thought it really added some sci-fi flare to the overall design. I thought about using my old Riddick's head but got kind of attached to the Rock head after I stripped away all the paint and sanded down the beard sculpt, so I kept it instead. Parts: Head, body, arms, upper legs - Retaliation 3pack Roadblock Knees, lower legs - POC Arctic Destro Web gear - 25th green shirt and Prince of Persia Dastan sheaths Goggles - Star Wars legacy sandstorm Han Solo Blades - Sota Riddick Thanks for looking!

This is fantastic. i have bought the same figure with the idea of doing the same thing. i have some goggles and the same blades.
Man that web gear is so accurate too. where are the goggles and web gear from? Even though it is the rock. it does look like riddick. I love this character too and you certainly knocked it out the park

Thanks stjuggernaut! The goggles are from a Han Solo figure and the web gear is combination of G.I. Joe 25th web gear with the holster removed and Prince of Persia Dastan sheaths.

This figure is really cool, nice work dude. I like what you did with the legs, they do match the character very well.

Flipping Amazing. I love Pitch Black and all that. Very under-rated series. I tip my hat in your direction, good sir!

Johns: How's it look?
Riddick: Looks clear. [Johns steps forward, and a creature flies out towards them. They duck and it flies into the night] Johns: You said it was clear! Riddick: I said it *looked* clear. Johns: Well, how does it look now? Riddick: Looks clear. ;D Awesome custom man! I think I might need to make one for myself now....

Really, really, really great work. I would buy this if I saw it in stores. My buddy, who is not an action figure guy but loves Riddick, will freak out when he sees this.
