I'm a little new to Figuarts - can anyone guess as to how this will this scale with the Mezco One12 version?

S.H.Figuarts figures are always a little small. Next to a Mezco One:12 figure it could be a half inch to an inch shorter. Even next to Marvel Legends, Figuarts figures run shorter than any of their other 1/12 scale counterparts.

I'd say they're smaller in general but it depends, some are shorter but others like Black Panther were the exact same size.

I don't think I've come across any that are a full inch shorter though.

They're closer to true 1/12, so they tend to be a little smaller. If you do want something to scale closer to say, Marvel Legends, it's best to go for the Mezco version.

The heads sculpts seem to be the best in the market so far.
But this plastic shoulder cape is killing me.
Probably will get it aniway, but man...

Cloth Cape,Ewww!

I really dont like cloth accessories on figures. Like yea, they look cool but they will be a pain to maintain in the long run. Ill pass.

WB failed to notice technically he's using a gun - his Batarang made from guns, that is.

I like the head sculpt a lot, but the knees on this look pretty out of place. I wish SHF would some day add texture/paint to knees and elbows. Here they cut right through the sculpt.

I take it you haven't seen the movie? While he doesn't use it like a batarang in the movie, its a bladed weapon and not a gun as many thought.

I was thinking the same thing. The do seem skinny, but also seem a bit short in relation to the torso. Can't tell as much in the more dynamically posed pictures, so that is good at least.

Huh? There's no batarang made from guns. That was a fan theory that doesn't actually appear in the film.

I think they shoulda streamlined it by not having it go outside the shoulders. Maybe kept it close to the collarbone as plastic pleated looking cape, then from the top of the shoulders have it be the soft goods.

This is an easy pass for me. The Mezco figure is superior IMO.
